Why does this keep happening? Seriously?

He made a dumb mistake. Noc has never been in trouble while in the NBA up until now. I'm sure this is a freak thing, a one time loss of judgment. Sounds like he's sorry. Assuming that he wasn't so drunk that criminal charges can be applied, suspend him, fine him and lets move on...

I think he was being sarcastic. I know of many people, through my own personal life experiences, who have gotten behind the wheel who knew they shouldn't have OR weren't sure if they were below the limit or not. It happens more than you think and that's not to say its ok by any means, but it is more common than most people who are wagging the finger think.
