I wonder how the players feel about the Oregon court, it looks like a distraction, stepping out a bounds, missing the 3pt line lol.. I don't like it

Yeah, that Oregon court looks like a mess. The Nets court looks nice to me though, it's simple and classy; which can be boring to some.

i think it's pretty sweet. Might lose its effect when all the fans are in tho. Coz u won't be able to see the seating which is really nice. With fans in i think spurs' is nicer.

The Oregon court is an eye sore for TV viewing. As far as playing on that surface, it probably makes little difference. You're looking up when you're playing ball, not at the floor.

The Blazers court is boring and bland. I been trying to convince the staff that they should go back to old school white keys, like in our old Memorial Coliseum.

The parquet is too dark, I prefer Zalgiris. They should've gone with birch.
That whole pseudo-retro style by Jay-Z won't stick because of its prefix. I can see them changing it to something atrocious like previous Warriors logo/theme in 5 yrs time.

the 3d is only for tv, it's a special effect added digitally, not actual part of the floor. no?

Very nice looking arena. I much rather see all one color when it comes to the seats. I 've always detested the ACC's multi colored seats.

Would some of those costs associated in the 1 billion price tag be attributed to permits, fees, real estate & contractors? If so, then I can understand the cost.

As for the arena, it looks like a basketball venue and not a multi-purpose arena (see: ACC and really any arena build during the 90s).

Exactly. The process of getting to this point was very costly for the developers. Legal fees alone against the NIMBY's who fought this development was sky high.

Land acquisition and contractor fees in NYC are very high compared to the rest of the country as well.
