Nets Are the Nets going to break the record for worst start ever?

The record for worst start is 0-17. They are currently sitting at 0-15 and are still out on the road for two more games against Sacramento and the Lakers before coming home to play Dallas.

It looks really possible that they could be 0-18 by next week.

Oh I really hope. The more futility in the league the less the Raptors dark days are talked about. GO NETS and we could take Devin from you no problem ....... Actually I'd like lopez too

I actually think they are not that bad of a team. Like you said, a lot of injuries.

I think they have a really good team, but having three to four starters out and only dressing eight guys a game for an extended period is about as bad as it gets.

i'm very disappointed in Harris this season... yeah i know he was injured and is playing hurt, but he hasnt shown anything to warrant the 'top PG in the east' title whatsoever. this guy was lining up to be the best pg in the east months ago... and now i wouldnt put him top 3.
in his defense, he's only played 5 games, but its his attitude and demeanor on the court that is worrying me. I've seen him play twice this year and he looks so disinterested and bored. maybe its just the losing culture nowadays in NJ thats getting to him, but as that team's leader; he's the one that needs to pick them up and get their shit going. and he's failing at that miserably.
they have a very young impressionable team and are looking at their best player/floor leader for inspiration..... and they arent getting it.

the worst thing is that they live in jersey and play on swamp land
at least when you're on the Clippers you live in LA and get to see the Lakers play

NY basketball is in the toilet in general

probably jersey or Connecticut b/c you get more bang for your buck and can get a bigger house

but all that aside, they still have to spend a lot of time in jersey (Meadowlands)

Too bad they don't have a tilt against the Raptors, that would do the trick for them for sure.

-Two very good players
-One decent player
-#1 pick that may or may not pan out
-Capspace in NJ? Where nobody wants to play......capspace means nothing unless the better players want to sign there.

Yeah..........much brighter future??

Ya I hear you it has some down sides but every city doesn. Unless you are like LA, Miami, NYC and a few others you really don't have an edge in recruiting unless your winning

We'll probably see them at full strength and in the middle of a winning streak.

I can see Lebron going to Brooklyn if he doesn't win this year [which he won't]

There's a lot of attractive pieces there.

Brook Lopez, Devin Harris, a bunch of young talent [CDR, Lee, Williams]...Combine that with a top 3 pick and some good vets and they have a very legit and a very young team.

On top of all that, they'll have a Russian billionaire to help them get to a championship.

The pieces are coming into place.

Agreed, no one really entertains the possibility of Lebron jilting to New Jersey, but I think it's just as viable as any other possibility. I think he wants to win a title on his own so to speak -without another prodigious name. NJ is a place with budding talent and great building blocks, and a possible dynasty if Lebron chooses make it a reality. The possible dynasty term won't be associated rationally with the Raps anytime soon.
