Nets Nets getting calls for Harris

Quote:
If the Nets land the first overall pick, and in turn Kentucky's John Wall, current point guard Devin Harris might become available.

Although New jersey hasn't ruled out playing the two together in the event they draft Wall, president Rod Thorn has already received calls about Harris.

"I can't lie about it," Thorn said. "I've had calls about that."

The Hawks, Heat and Pacers may have interest in Harris.

I would like him here. He is a shoot first PG we need. With Hedo here, Hedo can create the plays

Hm... acquiring Harris would definitely mean giving up Bargnani... especially when you're trading with someone like Thorn...
And, I'm all for it.
Acquire Harris and have a follow-up trade involving Calderon for a big

Ignore my previous post, check out these stats:

NBA.com : Devin Harris Info Page

Shooting 40% and 27% from 3PT...
Also, averaged only 16 PPG playing for the absolute worse team in the league...
not very impressive to say the least.

he was injured all year though

Calderon & our first pick might be enough if they get the first pick but why would they want a 9 millions dollar backup PG?

Way to be ignorant. Devin Harris is a great PG.

harris is one of those prospects who let the hype become bigger than himself. i like him, but he's not some superstar point guard. he goes to the net hard and can defend pretty well. past that, he's nothing special.

Wade and Harris running the fast break together would be sick.

ummm never said i didn't want him here over the likes of our point guards. i'd be afraid of what the asking price for him is. he's still looked at as if he's still has a lot of untapped potential.

He reached that potential the year before last. Last year was a nightmare for Harris, his stats don't tell the picture. I think he was getting back to from later in the year.

He's good.
