Nenad Krstic
You get any fundamentally sound center, and they look great playing beside three hall of famers.

They essentially got Jeff Green for Nate Robinson.

Most people talked about the Celts' moves in a negative light at the tradeline, but it's looking to me like the pulled off the best deal out of everyone.

Tradeline....is this what they call it?

those two guys with weird names (Harangody and Erden (sp)) and Mcdaniels for peanuts seemed really odd at the time but signing Murphy and Arroyo (and almost Bibby) caused this to make a bit more sense. IF (a huge if) they can have an injury free postseason the celts are near shoeins.

The thing I don't understand is that so many people were shocked they gave away Kendrick Perkins, when their starting lineup has never technically lost a playoff series. They offered Kendrick Perkins an extension. He declined. They didn't believe in his long-term health enough to offer him anything more, so they traded him while they could still get something for him.

Jeff Green is a nice building block to team with Rondo and Davis going forward. That's a pretty encouraging young core for a team bwhose championship hopes rest on three aging veterans. Krstic has been a really nice compliment with the big four. I expected him to be - when you stick a guy that knows how to play basketball with four other guys that really know how to play basketball, you're going to get something positive.

Boston took a chance that Kendrick Perkins won't be healthy long-term. Realistically if he's healthy and can get back to where he was before his injury in game 6 last year, then OKC is a knock-down three point shooter away from being a dynasty team, and it's not looking as good for Boston.

We need more time to see results about Nenad Krstic and Green trade. Especially in playoffs if it is good trade or not :dancing:

It's funny, Krstic, Murphy, Arroyo and Pavlovic are the last players I could see in a Celtics uniform. Not because they are white, but because I didn't think they play an aggressive style like the Celtics do. Former role players like James Posey, Tony Allen and PJ Brown during their 07-08 championship really complemented the Big 4. I still think Krstic lacks too much size and weight to play with Bynum, Howard etc.

I think what turned everyone's heads more than anything was the loss of muscle, especially considering it's going to be tough to rely on the old guys. But I think too much emphasis gets placed on size. It gets a bit fetishistic. This was a good trade for both teams.

Jeff Green has more upside than any of the other 3 players.
