Default NBA Rejects Howard's All-Star Dunk Request

Would you guys want to see them dunk on a 12 foot hoop?

Fellow contestants Rudy Gay and Gerald Green took the challenge up to Howard, saying if he wants to dunk a 12 foot rim, they would too.

"You have that idea about moving the goal to 12 feet?," Gay wrote in his blog on nba.com "If you want to do it, go ahead and do it. I'm pretty confident in my jumping ability. If you go before me, I'll leave it up there and do my dunk."

12 feet is insane if you think about it... you know how high that is?
too bad, i'd love to see the guys try an attempt @ 12 feet... it would make it very interesting... it would actually creat a ton of buzz for the event, i wonder why stern rejected the idea, isnt the dunk off supposed to be about creativity?

I think howard knew the idea was going to be rejected and now he has a lot of positive publicity because of that.

In that case, Jamario should put in a request to have it raised to 14 feet!
