Spurs are playing well, maybe Timmy makes one last push for that MVP?

LeBron can't do every that KD does. But neither can KD.

Parker is playing extremely well. If he can keep up the way he has been playing during the last 10 games till the end of the season he is in consideration for the top 5 spot. I think once Ginobili comes back fully healthy his numbers will go down.

I was going to say Tony Parker is a sleeper for the MVP and could make a late run.

Right now top 5 for me would be James, Durant, Paul, Kobe, and Parker.

Chris Paul has the potential to absolutely explode later on the season.

If you can't make the leap without me spelling it out....

It's not even clear that Lebron is the best player on his team, let alone the fact that some suggest Bosh and Wade are both top 5 at their positions. Who's calling Bosh top 5? Not I but some.. ask Torrap. Heck, ask Bosh. The point is simple despite this fact. What does it have to do with Dirk and MVP? Name a top 5 guy besides Dirk on the Mavs. It's not a great leap to understand my point. I refuse to believe Lebron is as valuable as Dirk, that's what it alll has to do with Dirk amigo.

I think MVP is a stupid award...and realistically the most valuable player has to be Dwight Howard. You take him off Orlando and that team would be challenging the Bobcats for the worst record in the league lol. Take James off Miami and that team can still do damage in the playoffs. Even OKC without Durant isn't a good team, but I think Dwight adds the most wins to his team, compared to any other player. That's the real definition of "most valuable player".

But yeah, the way MVP is given out these days, James would get my vote.

yes it is, look what lebron did with the cavs roster, look what wade did with the heat roster in years past, look at how the heat played when wade was injured.Lebron is most definitely better.

also, Aaron Gray

Yes Aaron Gray is awesome, I agree.

I also think Wade is better than Lebron. I'd also take KD and Dwight over Lebron too. No big deal. It's not a consensus that LBJ is better than Wade.

lol... u said its not clear who the best player on the heat is, the two best players are lebron and wade, but lebron imo is clearly better than wade, in all aspects except wade has better handles.

I respect your opinion but disagree. I think Wade is clearly the better player. We've collectively made my point.

This really, really isn't a question. You can give a bunch of players honourable mentions, but the MVP race looks like this and I doubt it will change:

1. LeBron James

2. LeBron James
3. Kevin Durant
4. Who gives a #$%&
