still the BIGGEST fans tho
LOL

implying any other teams fans wouldn't do the same thing. Raps fans would've went nuts at bashing LBJ, not many other teams fans like LBJ and the heat

Imagine us playing the heat in the playoffs and this happened, what the Toronto Sun would do on their cover? Lol

That's it tho, I held spur fans to a higher regard then others especially us. Raps fans are sometimes real assholes (booing Andrea pissed me off so much). There's no need to boo a playrt who is in pain, that's just dumb, its not like he did anything wrong to warrant him getting booed

San Antonio found LeBron's kryptonite: No Air Conditioning

After settling for two lazy jumpers, he was finally put in a position where he had to jump, trying to block Duncan at the rim on the other end which took him out of the game.

I thought he and Miami had clear control of the game. Maybe SA comes back, but it wasn't looking good for them in the early 4th Q.
Lebron was killing them on defense as well - likely a big part of why he cramped up. The Spurs were on the ropes and then were freed up. They have too good of an offense not to be able to kill their opponent once there is any chance to do so.

LBJ was playing more physical in the third then I think I've ever seen him play. He was very animated, and his teammates were following suit. They were just jamming every cut and not letting SA take any space. He definitely burned him self out and it probably hit him during the 3rd quarter/4th quarter intermission.

I think Popovic is holding last year's strategy in his back pocket for the deciding game or a key game on the road. Probably game 4.

I believe they were 4 points behind when lebron came out, on the ropes is a bit excessive ...

im a big nets hater but unno, who your starting sf? battier? beasley? nets are a dangerous team and taking out lebron is huge because the offense is around lebron. i could see nets winning in 7 (this is with brook lopez, think i forgot to write that on previous post).

Suggesting that the game turned when Lebron came out of the game is a bit excessive. It was the second time he came out. And as bjjs correctly stated, he was effected for the whole 4th quarter.

even so, miami only had a 4 pt lead going into the 4th, on the road. At no point during the 4th, did miami lead by more than 6 points, and when lebron came out, the lead was actually 2.

so I was wron, on the ropes is WAY excessive. There's no question that with lebron, the finish would have been tight, but there's no reason to believe SAS was in any kind of disarray.

not sure if you're being sarcastic or not, but you do realize that, while winning in only 5 games, two of those wins came in the last minute or so. Without lebron that series is not really close imo.

All those role players would be toast without the attention lebron is getting from opposing defenses.

It's not about the score, it's about the story of the game. Yes Miami beat the Spurs by 9 in the 3rd. Not huge, but it's how they were beating them, they were physically dominating them with Lebron leading the way. Lebron's cramps prevented Miami from maintaining that level of play in the 4th quarter.

It wasn't over, but before cramps starting impacting Lebron's play (up 6), the Heat had the momentum.

I'll be honest, I didn't like what I saw from the Spurs. I think Heat will win the series (I said Spurs in 6 before the series). But as bjjs mentioned, Pop will get his guys to sag more off LeBron at some point to throw him off.

^^ and I know it may sound crazy because Spurs shot 59%, but I think Heat will lock them down late game. Hope I'm wrong though.

Whaaaaa?!? Missed something, they sag off would he not just shot then with the space? or get some steam rolling forward with an unimpeded quick first step? What am I missing?

After crampgate and the insults/extreme disrespect I can see LBJ on a mission...I don't recall seeing Bron so angry, not upset but angry

In last year's finals, he had a tough time when Leonard/Diaw sagged (LeBron shot 3-21 FG against Diaw) during the first 5 or so games. However, LeBron started to figured it out towards the end, which is why I think Pop isn't getting Leonard to sag just yet. It will happen though at some point, no doubt.

Interesting hypothesis.. I don't really agree with that premise for this year but I can see what you're saying - Pop is unpredictable.
