I picked Heat in 6. Just because I thought Wade might play well. I was very wrong.

Very, very happy with the result. The best outcome possible for the league on many levels.

I don't care all that much about the business side of things, neither did I mention it specifically, although I could probably endeavor to show how that's true as well.

Rather, I was talking about the Spurs victory bringing hope to the teams that can't simply attract big name free agents and have to rely on shrewd drafting to build a contender. And also about loyalty and team basketball being rewarded.

I thought that, and didn't trust Parker's legs. As it turns out, the Spurs probably could have won it without Parker. That was simply an amazing team. The Heat spent the season unable to regain a sense of team identity. It didn't show very much through the playoffs, but it really showed up against a team like this. Just beautiful. I wish we had seen a series like last season in terms of competitiveness, but the two series taken together are pretty remarkable.

On another note, that owner dude was obnoxious as hell. He was so right when he said it didn't start at the top.

De Colo must be pissed right now.

But this trade clinched it for them. The Spurs owe us

Can't simply attract big fee agents to win lol what? This team has won 2 champions and made it to the finals 4 times and with the cap space they might be alright for next year. That method works and might work again this offseason

Also tbh, Miami is a very loyal franchise and a can play some amazing team basketball. This year, they just looked so deflated

it's great that a team can build a super team and not become a dynasty, it gives more teams an equal opportunity at winning, I am happy Spurs won it all.

Picked 5 from the first game, can't believe I was right

The way the spurs carried out the end of the game was just so humbling and professional, never seen that before.

And good for Leonard, well deserved and just the beginning

Man, I hate the Spurs.

Miami needs to go after Lowry.

Did anyone watch the Lebron/Wade presser?

Sitting next to each other, was there a question directed at Wade? It was mostly questions about Lebron being the leader and how it's his team and how he was motivating HIS team. And Wade sitting there looking deflated. It seemed uncomfortable for Wade. I loved it!

de colo wanted to get traded, his fault.

felt bad for wade, he really needs some sort of kobe surgery to be normal. i do believe that incident in game 1 vs spurs injured him because against pacers (he was getting guarded by PG at times), he destroyed them easily and looked great going in.
