True, but I love the home crowd going nuts when the home team takes it

Awesome to see the Warriors win the championship
Watching Lebron lose in the finals once again is truly great.

Lebron said he'd rather not make the playoffs than lose in the finals. LOL

Yeah kind of harsh. He was convinced that they'd win the series. In that presser - he put a lot of emphasis on needing his all star brothers. He should have really thanked the insane efforts by Shump, Mozgovovich and Delle for giving everything they had.

Maybe he should have called out his elite-bench-husk-band-wagoners of Marion, Miller, Jones, Haywood and Perkins.

Cleveland kind of outplayed them. They dictated the pace all series long, they handcuffed Klay and did a formidable job on Curry. They simply didn't have the skill or the firepower. Hard to win any game in the playoffs, let alone in the finals when a team is missing uncontested layups at the rim.

I think a healthy Irving and Cleveland takes the series in 5 or 6.

I also ponder what would have happened if SA won the last game of the season and earned home court advantage in the first two rounds. I think they might be celebrating another championship. They have the veterans and discipline to execute a similar defensive strategy as Cleveland, but the firepower to make GS pay and really pressure them playing from behind.

Kind of a odd championship, because Cleveland shorthanded really was a tier-2 team...and yet GS didn't look that great against them.

Lebron may feel very dissapointed but you can really call it success for Cleveland.
Team found their style of game after completing mid-season trades. On a shorthanded team guys exposed their real potential which gives great opportunity for management to make right adjustments.
With Irving and Love healthy this team is unbeatable in the east and they will give it a shot in the next year finals.

If the Cavs kind of outplayed GS wouldn't the Cavs kind of won? Congrats to GS on the win - love it and love LBJ losing. As for inserting Irving in the lineup and the Cavs suddenly winning the series in 5-6 might not happen - the Cavs defence wouldn't be nearly as good as it was. Now a healthy Love and Irving would make the offense top tier but again, the defense drops off even more but I would probably give it to the Cavs just based on LBJs experience. I would definitely say this year would have been optimal timing but a GS team with playoff experience capped with a championship will be much tougher next year imo. I don't think nerves would play such a large role and Klays off play to me is a lot Cavs and a lot concussion related - he just never seemed right after Ariza's knee.

This coming year with a healthy core, I expect Cavs to be on a tear from start to finish. I would be surprised if they didn't make the finals - and I'm going with OKC/Cavs in the finals next year.

I too thought that GS may have had it easy. But the Cavs had the easiest conference match up on their end before heading to the finals. The GS dealt with worthy opponents while Cavs had a smooth right on the east.

How so, both Memphis and Houston had injuires.
GS was lucky they didn't have the clippers or spurs.

Cavs wasnt that easy but it kind of showed you how terrible the east is.lebrin is going to the finals next year, no doubt about it

Golden State's greatest advantage in the playoffs was health.

I'm sure Memphis and Houston are both > than Atlanta and Washington. And what I meant was Cavs had it easier than GS when trying to get to the finals.

Golden State's greatest advantage was defense, they're depth kept them healthy.
