Default NBA finally has advanced stats!

It took the nba long enough. Advanced stats available on nba.com. Basketball reference are probably really pissed lol.

It looks like they actually posted the correct formula for TS%. I know last time somebody quoted that here ESPN's formula didn't work.

interesting. from the other board I'm on somebody who is like the stats - wiz has found that their/the nba's orating and drating are very different from basketball reference and 82 games.

Last time Danh quoted TS% I did some algebra and noticed the formula was bs. Maybe Hollinger hides the real formulas on purpose. ESPN's formula for TS% was missing the 2.

Hollinger = Total points / [(FGA + (0.44 x FTA)]

NBA = PTS / (2 * (FGA + 0.44 * FTA))
