Im 50/50 on this move...

Shifty.py 10-24-2012 10:48 AM

bargs suddenly got more of a chance

Raptorman 10-24-2012 11:13 AM

...and Erin Gray less of a chance.

Aamir 10-24-2012 11:31 AM

I like this move. Not enough talent there. D12, Bynum and Jo-Va run the league basically.

I would deny fans from being able to select allstar players altogether.
It's been ridiculous show over past years...

Coaches and other palyers along with media specialists should do the selection.

the nba is a business concerned with ratings and making money. they are not concerned with creating a fair and logical all star selection system. Fans pick their favourite players and tune in to watch them, thats never going to change.

well there go JV's chance, do not like this, we could pretty much see a lebron, melo and maybe even another SF as the starters for the east

Luckedout 10-24-2012 09:52 PM

i dont think JV wouldve made it as a rookie regardless. if anything this opened it up for bargs although i doubt he makes it.

er.....JOVA runs what?

Superjudge 10-24-2012 11:56 PM

oh ya, I see this as horrible. Just means they can stuff more of the top guys from the already stacked top teams into the game. Its a fucking joke actually. The NHL has it right where each team has to have a rep on the squad. You're trying to promote your league ffsakes. They care nothing about parity, and it's another sign that unless you're in a holy quintuplet of franchises, the league cold care less if you sank or swam....and then there is Toronto, were good enough to give revenue to the failing US franchises, but not good enough to ever get anything from the league.

Superjudge 10-24-2012 11:56 PM

Still no all star game in toronto huh..... How many years in the league now????

Blaze 10-25-2012 12:10 AM

I'm all for this move, but they should do something about the voting, as it stands jeremy lin is going to be an all-star.

Am i wrong or are SF/PF lumped together as are PG/SG on NBA ballots? You vote for Guards and forwards + the Center? Question is, will Centers be lumped in with forwards then at this point?
