NBA.COM: 5 FA Rumours That Might Work

NBA.Com is report FA signings that might work.

Ron Artest to Portland, A.I to Charlotte, Jason Kidd to Philly, David Lee to Toronto, and C.V to Cleveland.

Some of them where already posted, some of them weren't.

The Raptors have been one of the worst rebounding teams in the league for the last few seasons. Chris Bosh is an All-Star power forward, but he's most comfortable in the high post. Fellow big man Andrea Bargnani is, of course, most comfortable on the perimeter.

So the Raptors need a big that can operate down low and do the dirty work on the boards. Lee ranked third in the NBA with 11.7 rebounds per game and recorded a league-high 65 double-doubles. He doesn't have the size of a center, but the trio of Bargnani, Bosh and Lee complement each other very well.

Bosh may leave Toronto a year from now, but that wouldn't diminish Lee's value with the Raptors because Bargnani will always need help on the glass.

Hes restricted isnt he? Paying him above 8 mil to be our 6th man isnt in our best interest, and we offer under that its going to get matched. Its just another bogus rumor.

Yeah, I agree. But, he would be a suitable replacement for Bosh if they decide to deal him.

No he wouldnt. Lee is a nice player but I dont think hes a starter on a really good team unless you have a real post presence next to him. His defence is worse than Boshs and his offence isnt that good either unless hes the main big on the pick and roll which wouldnt happen on most teams because most teams have a better PF than him.

True, David Lee's offensive prowess isn't as dynamic as CB4's but his FG% is much more impressive. Granted he's not leaned upon to take the brunt of the shots in NY, but he won't be thrusted into that role here either- I think Bargnani is ready for that label. A healthy Jose can put up good numbers and whoever they would acquire through a possible Bosh deal would probably offer something on the offensive side of the ball as well. Add in Mr. Lee to the mix-whose D is just as suspect/capable as Bosh's- and you have a nice core.

i get what your saying but, Bosh how many double doubles. david lee=64

if Bosh is healthy all season what 20- 30 max.

I don't want him in Raptors team. He only getting double double cos noone really pay attention to him... no one really wants to defend him at all. We already have Big man that will rebound alot and thats Evans... he even might turn into Charles Oakley with raptors
