Arrow NBA bans standing on the sidelines

Quote:
Except it is, actually. And standing on the sidelines, more or less, has been banned by the NBA. If you're not in the game, and you're not participating in an impromptu celebration, you need to sit. League rules. Fans asked for it, the NBA delivered it.

Grizzlies benchwarmers? Go ahead and stand. You're not blocking anyone's view.

i herd about this yesterday on pti...but it makes sense....people pay big money to see players up close so their views shouldnt be blocked by a bunch of towel waivers....

This shit could have helped a couple of seasons ago in game 1 of the Playoffs when we were up against jersey and Calderon threw the ball into the bench as a rersult of a standing Darrick Martin - whom he thought was on the court.

thats ridiculous.

I wonder if the fans knopw that the small print in thier request is that many more of thier favourite players will now see more time on the IR as a result of pulled muscles re-entering games.

These guys need to stand.... period.

Idiot move.
