This year mark's the 10th entry in the NBA 2K series which in turn will bring about an anniversary edition set with extra trimmings.
The NBA 2K10: Anniversary Edition contents will be packed into a numbered limited edition game locker designed to store up to 20 games secured by a padlock, the NBA 2K10 game; 3" Figurine of Kobe Bryant by McFarlane Toys; 16" x 36" Kobe Bryant poster; and access to the Gold Room, the NBA 2K10 VIP online lobby.

Of the 30,000 total sets being produced, 10 will include a chase autographed Kobe Bryant fine-art print, designed by Shepard Fairey's Studio Number One.

NBA 2K10: Anniversary Edition will be available on October 6 for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. It will cost you $99.99 or $40 more than the standard edition.

Lame edition, but I liked 2K9 and will certainly be getting the standard 2K10.

I could never find a set of sliders for NBA 2K9 on X-Box that gave me a fair game with the computer. It was either way too easy, or the computer would make fade away threes from half court. No in between. Really hoping they've fixed that up a bit.

The morphing and the lack of real NBA basketball is what made 2k9 no step up from 2k8. I cant believe they still have the help defenders face guarding their men when a guy just blew by his man and is about to dunk the ball. They still havent fixed that when its been a huge issue for like 3-4 straight years with everyone telling the devs to fix it.

I'm not going to buy the game on the 1st day like I have the past 2 years unless the morphing and lack of help defence is fixed. That and the controls are too herky jerky a lot of the time, it doesnt feel loose when youre just trying to go in one direction and an animation takes over. I liked the 2k8 control better.
