Knicks Nate, Anyone?

Quote:
Knicks Will Discuss Trading Nate

Knicks president Donnie Walsh says he'll probably begin discussions with Nate Robinson's agent regarding a trade on Monday.

Robinson's agent, Aaron Goodwin, asked New York to look into trading his client over the weekend. The guard hasn't played in the team's last nine games.
RealGM: Basketball Wiretap Archives: Knicks Will Discuss Trading Nate

Think he'd a good option? I mean, we probably wouldn't have to give up much consider they're pretty desprite to deal him. I'm thinking a package of Jose plus an expiring for him (Wright?). He'd bring intensity and athletism at the PG position that Jose seems to lack.

Nate/Jack/Banks
DD/Belinelli/Jack
Hedo/Weems/Belinelli
Bosh/Amir/Evans
Bargs/Rasho/POB

IF Jose gets traded please send him to New York. Jose out played Jack when he played at Indy and he will again with the Knicks.

I think Jose would do pretty well with D'Antoni as his coach. Mike would teach him to play more freely and not be so cautious of TOs.

I think if they get rid nate. They won't be looking to waste any expense on jose, but preying Rubio from the T-wolves

That would work wait for Jose to get healthy then trade Jack to the Wolves for the rights to Rubio. Throw in Wright , or Bryant. Then we would have one of the best tandems in the world at the pg position. Keep Banks though as our 3rd stringer.

Sorry I meant the knicks have there eyes on Rubio. What you are proposing would be fantastic, but I think we have to give them a hell of a lot more then that. Due to talent and contract differential it next to impossible to bag Rubio.

I think your shit is laced with something Stonezz.

We're talking about Nate. Nate Robinson.

If Jose wasnt so overpaid, he would make a perfect bench PG. Calderon is always sharp at the beginning of games, imo in the first 5 minutes of every game he's one of the best PG's in the league. His problem I believe is athelticism. He tires out during the games and loses focus. Jarret starting would solve this problem and that way Jose can come off the bench and be the perfect 6th man

Are we talking about the same Nate? Who the hell would want Nate Robinson. Let's let him start fights and be a douchebag. So what he can dunk even though he's like 5'9, I would take Banks over Nate.

The only role Nate would be useful on the Raps would be as a 6th man energy off the bench which I doubt he would want to come to Toronto for. I wouldn't want him as our main playmaker/decisionmaker over Jose or Jack. He might be better at the 2, but then if we played him at the 2, he would stunt the growth of Derozan. Our team needs help with defense who will play within the team concept, not an undersized 1 or 2.

I don't think the Knicks would take on Jose..I'd do it though, Nate's only on a 1 year deal..

I'd have a problem cheering for this team with Nate on it.

He's everything that's wrong with young players today.
