Itd be funny if they put themselves into cap hell overpaying guys like Batum to keep Nash then he bolts. Itd be worse if they do that and he stays, as the mediocre get more mediocre.
Come back home, Nash. |

I would kind of love seeing Nash go to Miami. It could potentially prolong his career even more, since he wouldn't have to be the focal point, and, if they win, start the "Lebron can't win without Nash" threads.

I don't think that Nash is the ideal fit for Miami.
All that Miami needs from a PG is someone to play defense, bring the ball up the court, and knock down open jumpers. They don't need someone like Nash who creates offense for others, creates his own offense, and controls the flow of the game (while being average on defense). That's not to say that Nash would make the Heat a worse team. He would add a lot of depth, and take some pressure off Wade and LeBron. But, I think that Miami would prefer a PG that's elite defensively when it's crunch time in the playoffs. |

I actually think having a pg that takes the ball out of Lebron's and Wade's hands is a good thing for them, and Nash is a fantastic shooter.... they wouldn't need any more defense.

Nash (S&T)
For Haslem, Cole, Miller + pick Nash/Chalmers Wade/FA (minimum?) Lebron/Battier/Jones Bosh/Turiaf/Howard Anthony/Curry/Pitman Last edited by jeffb; 03-29-2012 at 08:53 PM. |

Haah, probably.
Then again, if they re-sign Brooks: Brooks/Cole Brown/Redd/Miller Hill/Childress/Dudley Haslem/Frye/Warrick Lopez/Gortat/Frye Not that bad imo. Although if Nash is gone they need to just rebuild. Last edited by jeffb; 03-29-2012 at 09:05 PM. |

Not that bad? You mean in terms of comparing them to the historically bad teams? Look at that lineup again and tell me its not that bad, wow. And you for some reason have Lopez infront of Gortat which is astonishing.

I've seen a lot worse. As for Lopez ahead of Gortat, you're right but i just put the names up not thinking of the order to be honest. Whatever, i say they should just let him go and rebuild anyway and also trade Grant Hill in the process.
