Question Most Valuable Player

If you took out the best player from every team in the league... which team would have the worst record. Most of you might say the raps, but i think the cavs would be right down there with the nets. What do you guys think??

Btw no one is injured.

No, Cavs are pretty good. They're not like the Heat.

Williams/West/Varejao/Shaq might be 3rd best defensive team in the league without their best player. (Outside of LA without Bryant and Boston without KG).

I'd say the worst team would be New Orleans, OKC, then maybe Miami.

New Orleans held their own w/o paul for sometime. But okc has too many players, harden, green, westbrook. Miami would suck but not as much as clevland.

Dallas couldn't do without Nowitzki...I don't think they will hit the bottom but they will defintely struggle

Oh yeah. Cavaliers have a better +/- record with Varejao on the floor than with Lebron.
So when LeBron sits and Varejao plays they average better than when Varejao sits and LeBron plays. just saying

You seriously must be kidding to say OKC is still a good team with those three and think Mo/West plus Varejao and Shaq is crap.

my 5 cents:
Kings would suck big ass without Tyreke.
Clips without Kaman.
Bucks without Bogut.
Magic without Howard.
Suns without Nash.
And agree with the Mavs also. And earlier mentioned the Heat w/o Wade. Probably Bulls without Rose too. These teams are all designed around these players and these guys carry huge loads. Same counts for LeBron and Kobe but their supporting cast is playoff material on its own (perhaps Magic too but would take a huge blow).

The lakers would be fine, mo/west is laughable compared to westbrook/green. last time i checked Shaq plays under 24 minutes and isn't in the best shape, same for big Z.

Westbrook and Green aren't bad players, but they wouldn't be able to carry the OKC to a (near) playoff place like they are now (2nd best in West in january) imo.

Shaq and Z could still play both 24 mins if LBJ would be taken off the team. They would get more shots though. Shaq's numbers are still good, he shoots at much better % than Green and Westbrook and pulls down more boards too. And Green and Westbrook would probably be defended even tougher without KD on their team.

Mo and West def profit from LBJ on the court with them = wide open looks, but frankly, Shaq would get double teams too probably still so they might still get them. I don't think they're the best backcourt in the league or whatever but you compared them to Jack and Josť and I took offense to that. They actually play D for one.

That team would be competing for the 5th spot in the east.

Of the top teams, LAL,BOS,ORL,SAS,DEN, CLE, DAL, ATL

Its obviously Cleveland. just see how they play with Lebron on the bench.

I think Dallas would be in the 2nd worst shape. They basically run all of their halfcourt sets through Dirk and when they arent hitting shots off the attention he gets theyre awful. With Howard hurt they have no legit 2nd guy. Theyd seriously struggle to score against most teams.
