Spoelstra is bad-ass, he bumped Lebron.

That was a pretty good game last night. The Heat have been in a lot of good close games. And that is with Wade generally playing like a trainwreck, Lebron looking fairly average, and some key pieces missing. If Wade does as much as hit his free throws last night, then it's an entirely different game, even with that terrible third quarter.

Meanwhile - fucking Chandler looks like the defensive player of the year. Really nice. And I can't stop from bawling when I think about how he should be here. And so should Marion for that matter.
Wade is quite the jack-o-lantern. But I don't remember if he was "swollen" last year or not. The other 2 look different. But then I guess this year was supposed to be a cakewalk, so who needs "supplements"?

They may get Miller and / or Haslem back, but if one of Wade or LeBron is not healthy in the playoffs, they are not getting out of their conference.

He started off looking normal, then his game really suffered, like it is now, and then suddenly he was Mr. potatohead and tearing things up.

vs Dallas;

Lebron, Wade, Bosh = 52 shots
The rest of the team = 22 shots

the problem is Lebron and Wade did this 4 years to early, if Lebron gave it a go with Cleveland for another 4 years, he would have amazing career stats, now Lebron and Wade are worried about wins and stats,

the ball sticks with those two, then Bosh gets so frustrated he jacks up bad shots, Bosh is team guy and usually takes good shots as seen in Toronto for years

its just a bad mix,

that why the Celtics work now, not sure it would work if KG was 25, Ray Allen was 26, and Peirce is 28

Have you watched any of their games?? Bosh is taking most his shots in the first quarter. They've been starting their games going to him. Nobody is "worried" about stats. Wins are another matter, but I think Lebron might of been the only one wanting to win 70+.

LeBron Hopes Cavs Will Retire His Jersey

LeBron James is preparing for an emotional return to Cleveland as a member of the visiting team on Thursday night.

He was asked on Tuesday whether he'd eventually like to see his jersey hanging in the rafters at Quicken Loans Arena.

"Wow. Of course," James said. "If that's something that organization and franchise would do, I'm all respectful of that. I just tried to be the best player I could be every night, whether I was in that Cavalier uniform, that USA uniform. If that results in me having my jersey retired that would be great."

James added that he'll be ready for whatever response he receives when the Heat battle the Cavaliers in Cleveland later this week.

"I'm ready for whatever response I'm going to get," James said. "It's going to be very emotional. I give a lot of thanks to that city, a lot of thanks to those fans for giving me the opportunity to not only showcase my talent, but to grow from a young boy to a man during my seven years. So it's going to be very emotionally draining. I can tell already."

Why would anyone fault them for wanting to team up while they're each in their primes so as to try to ensure the maximum number of rings possible?

Tracy McGrady has come out now saying LeBron should have gone t Chicago. I can't disagree now. His whole pretend image would not have taken nearly as much of a hit. Also, Chicago is a TEAM, not a bunch of similar skill sets thrown together. He could have won there and excelled there. Look at their roster. He is what they needed to do some damage.

I said that this summer. Can you imagine Lebron playing with Rose, Noah and Deng.

The Portland Trail Blazers and Miami Heat have been granted disabled player exceptions for Greg Oden and Udonis Haslem, sources familiar with the league's ruling told ESPN.com.

HEAT INDEX

We've taken our talents to South Beach. Check out the Heat Index.

Both Oden (knee) and Haslem (foot), after being examined by an independent league-appointed physician, have been deemed to be carrying injuries that will likely sideline them for the remainder of the season.

Portland and Miami, as a result, have received exceptions valued at half of each player's salary.

In the Blazers' case, that amounts to $3,380,262 from Oden's $6,760,524 salary and expires Dec. 30.

Miami's exception is valued at $1.75 million, half of Haslem's $3,500,000 salary, and expires Jan. 6.
