Doesn't really matter, most likely all three will be healthy come the playoffs. But this is good to know, it shows how turrible the team is outside of Wade, LeBron and Bosh.

It may seem like that, but to be fair Mike Miller was injured for a large portion of the year (his shooting hand at that), Udonis Haslem only played the first 13 games before a freak injury and Mario Chalmers has had ankle problems on more than a few occassions this season, plus with additions/subtractions (Dampier-Stackhouse, Bibby-Arroyo), we never really had anything set in stone other than the Big 3 were likely to play with Spo coaching them.

This off-season the Heat will likely fill out their Center position a little bit better with signing Samuel Dalembert (very realistic), possibly getting Kwame Brown to back him up and we have even been linked to Nene (which is nearly impossible, I don't see Nene taking less money, he's getting paid this summer).

Overall, next season we'll hopefully be healthier with some key additions through Free Agency. Zydrunas Ilgauskas and Juwan Howard may retire, if Dexter Pittman improves enough to be a backup big for Dalembert, this could be the Heat rotation next season:

PG Mike Bibby-Mario Chalmers-Patrick Beverly
SG Dwyane Wade-Mike Miller-Eddie House
SF LeBron James-James Jones
PF Chris Bosh-Udonis Haslem-Joel Anthony
CE Samuel Dalembert-Dexter Pittman-Erick Dampier

We'll see. I expect us to get Dalembert and bring back much of the roster, with a healthy Haslem and Miller coupled in with Dalembert and players getting the oppurtunity of going through training camp and pre-season together, we can be a much more dangerous team than what we currently are and that can be a nightmare for a lot of teams in this League.

I see what your saying, but I still think that Bibby @ PG is a bad thing (Rondo, Fisher, Rose, anyone of the top teams PG's will absolutely burn him) and Dalembert has known attitude problems, however Lebron and Wade could probably control him.

Losing Haslem was a huge blow for sure though, so that will help having him back. Dampier is old and even with your suggested off season additions the Heat will still struggle to win games when their stars are injured.

Heat are good no doubt, but they are not the dreadnoughts they were made out to be. In time they may be, but not this year and likely not the next either. (Although if Nene did take a pay cut and they get a reasonable PG i admit they will be fantastic)

agreed, that guy has to be one of the most underrated forwards in the league...a lot of people forgot he almost took bosh's starting job away from his soft ass. he's one of those glue players/difference maker every team needs that will help in the win column. the heat would have added id say around 5-6 extra wins if he stayed healthy....

but i must add that i HATE THE HEAT, and hope they choke in the first round

Haslem is bascially Reggie with hands and slightly better court vision imo. Dude is good, he's an anchor in the way Perkins was in Boston.

I don't like the Heat either, but I am intrigued by their NBA2k style of team building, that being said I hope they fail.

And i would love to see them lose in the first round.
