Really? He averaged nearly 5apg this season. With Derozan the ball sticks way too much. Mayo can get others involved more, and as i said he's a better ball handler as well. Add his 3pt shooting and for this team Mayo is a better fit imo. But like i said we aren't getting him so there's really no point in this conversation.

It's a give and take situation, Mayo is averaging twice as many assists,DeRozan is drawing and attempting twice as many foul shots,it all depends on the coaches scheme and what they desire more from that position.

It's a healthy discussion, could be a possibility in the future,we never know.

I wouldn't put too much stock into the Mavericks talking smack at the end of the season about Mayo. They're all just grumpy in Dallas because they missed the playoffs.

Mayo is an undersized chucker.
His second half season output/stats were awful. He's only getting by because he played well for the first 2 months in Dallas.

Mayo disappeared in the second half both offensively and defensively. He was more of a liability and he couldn't carry over his first half start.

As for who is better, DeMar is a better player overall. He carries a larger offensive load than Mayo ever has and reads his situations far better. I'm not the biggest DD fan, but I think a lot of guys are buying they hype Mayo had from when he was in college.

Anyone who thought Mayo was better than DeMar this season is/was looney.

Also, Jeff Green has had a solid year, but does anyone know what he is? Also, there's a quite a few people here who that Pietrus had some gas in him and that he would be this defensive player who can stabilize the three for us. I remember, saying quite adamantly that he was done. I guess I must be fickle.

I've always liked Jeff Green - and I dare somebody to find something where I've said otherwise. You can't go wrong with skilled athletes like Green whose main problem is that they pass the ball to much.

I'm very disappointed in him. I thought he turned the corner.

He was definitely still chucking early in the season but it seemed like he was flowing with the team more.

Damn shame.
