probably the reason shaq bailed - they told him they want to trade dwight ...
at least howard extended there, so they still have a chance to get something nice in return, I hope they're smart enough to go after anthony davis, not guys like bynum or gasol ...

Bynum and some garbage for Dwight. A fair and competitive league that Lord Stern is making.

shaq doesn't like howard

i doubt he was even in consideration. it'd be strictly a PR move that no one would take seriously. he has zero credentials when it comes to the business side of basketball.

Lakers will probably have to take Hedo, so it will be Bynum + garbage for Dwight + Hedo + bill for more janitorial staff to clean up the pizza boxes and crusts left lying around.

If somehow the Lakers can swing Bynum for Dwight, it's an absolute STEAL. Dwight is a superstar who brings amazing defence and rebounding every single game. That's something that isn't the case with Bynum. Maybe Bynum does it if he's on a team like Magic, but on the Lakers he won't be that guy. And Dwight can guard the pick and roll. However, with that said I don't think the Lakers will land Dwight.

You don't seem to understand. Even Blake frickin' Ahearn was able to kick Feton's ass this year. We need a PG reeeeally bad.

Yes, but as with Lin it's a small sample size. At least Felton has had more flashes in his career. But it also proves that under D'Antoni PG's can be pretty good, but often when he's gone they're production drops off.

What did Lin do poorly?

Turnovers.

Soooooooo "not drafted guy" comes to Big Apple mecca of all basketball and after being uber pinerider is thrust into spotlight where he plays to potential, shows some seriously great potential, and actually revives a team and it's city in less than three weeks....

were talking bout turnovers?? not winning games, not winning games, not winning games, we talkin bout turnovers????

Call me crazy, but I'm surprised he didn't throw it away more, and I'm floored that he acutually executed as well as he did. He didn't really get shitty until the Superstar stiffs returned. It would be har dto expect on top of ALL the other pressure and crap going on that Lin would also be able to control two of the MOST selfish and uncontrollable players in th NBA.

So you know, Lin might be better than you give him credit for. I support Toronto taking a run at him too.
