Maggette Will Opt Out Soon

Well, for those who wanted Maggette the chances are now slim seeing that he'll now be a UFA and looking for a sucker to grossly overpay him ala Rashard Lewis and the Orlando Magic.

"The reality is that there's no money out there," Dunleavy said of the market value for free agents. Later, he added, "People will come to reality and probably make a deal. That's how I see it."

Despite his "knucklehead" reputation I definitely think there's a sucker out there who'll look at his stats, his age, and his potential, quadruple the value of it and throw a box of bucks at him to come play for a loser.

If the money's right I think Maggette's willing to play anywhere.

As are most players, BC cannot afford him, looking back on it...how much did he overpay kapono though?
