and with all the coverage hockey gets here in canada, it just annoyed me to the point that i hate the sport

im starting to think im the only white guy in canada who doesnt watch hockey and finds it boring :cookie: how does an nba lockout thread turn into a comparison between hockey and basketball lol

The part about whether he should be happy or sad that it's happening in public.

Boner = fun.

Boner in public = fun yet embarrassing = confusing as to being happy or sad

NBA site is changed, only one page and only picture is David Stern and a WNBA chick.

You know its bad when 1/2 of the site is WNBA garbage.

At least they can't shut down forums and basketball news sites. But as there are no news, these will die by themselves...

Which team will get a $1M fine first for talking to the players?

another excellent article by coon about the financial behind the lockout.

A $45 million hard cap would lower league-wide salaries to $1.35 billion, a 36 percent decrease. This would represent a staggering $760 million drop in salaries from this season to next.

It was reported that the owners offered a 62Mil hard cap earlier this week and a 2 Billion dollar league wide salaries (confirmed by Stern). Where is he coming up with these numbers?

'trane 07-01-2011 10:35 PM

did you read the whole article?

Bill Haverchuck 07-02-2011 04:25 PM
