That's my point about Hunter's ridiculous comments about whether they can make their money last. Of course they could, but they'd rather pull a Danny Granger and build a real life Batcave under their house.

GASP???

how can we expect NBA players to find a new job after their current job contract runs out? They bleed for humanity, we owe them our sympathy.

+1

One of the reporters had the best tweets, saying I will pay any NBA player 10.50 an hour to rebound the ball for me. I found it quite funny

Hunter is an idiot....

The lies or "misstatements" about Cuban are ridiculous. The union is still wrong, it's doomed in this matchup, was from the start, and everyone knows it except the players.

I see some posts around, folks is lookin' for vintage Blazer games on tape. They'll copy them to DVD for you for free, then give you the tapes back after they make some copies of their own. This is a bad omen my friends, I believe these folks work for the local cable company, and they'll be looking to keep the faith by replaying old games FOR THE REST OF THE SEASON );

The NBA owners have dropped their*insistence*that players agree to a 50/50 split of BRI as a precondition to discuss system issues.

The precondition was blamed for talks breaking apart last week.

'Inching Closer' To Ending Lockout
Oct 26, 2011 3:22 PM EDT

A source who was briefed on talks between the owners and players told CBS Sports on Wednesday that there has been movement toward finalizing a new collective bargaining agreement.

"We're inching closer to a deal," said the source.

"Two sources -- one on ownership side, one union -- with direct knowledge of latest proposals are encouraged with movement on both sides," Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports later Tweeted.

The parties may have made progress during an unannounced Monday bargaining session, and are meeting again Wednesday.

On Tuesday, the owners discussed revenue sharing among themselves and Ken Berger reports that observers will be "pleasantly surprised" by the commitment that the big-market owners will make to the small-market teams.

Apparently GMs are cancelling scouting trips and preparing for free agency, per hoopshype.

Press conference on now on NBATV.

They hope to get a deal soon, back at it in the morning.

Hunter says he thinks they're in striking distance in getting a deal done. Hopes a deal can be done tomorrow.

Both sides need to lock Garnett and Wade in a basement though.
