![]() ![]() DeShawn Stevenson | NBADraft.net now question, which player were you wrong about? i thought hibbert after he got the big contract would always be a bumbling 7 footer with a unpolished post game forever. and i thought jamario moon had potential to be an all-star aaand go. |

![]() Had Beasley ranked above Rose in 2008. Didn't think Rose would develop a jumper and that he would fade sharply with age because he relied so much on athleticism. I basically saw him as a lesser Steve Francis. I likened Beasley to Melo and Mashburn.
Also liked Turner over Wall. Thought for sure that Turner was Brandon Roy, but with ACLs. And again, overlooked a super athletic point guard without a jump shot. Also loved Martell Webster coming out of HS. I recall being very irked when he was selected one pick ahead of Charlie V. |

![]() Meh, maybe you shouldn't count guys with injuries like Oden and Roy. Technically you were wrong about them, but they were bound to be superstars if they were playing.
And even though I didn't notice him until he came with us, Sonny Weems. :cookie: Ouch. :mattyd: Last edited by Aamir; 06-04-2013 at 04:42 AM. |

thought it was a great trade for memphis, and they got the better player, didn't think kevin love would translate in the nba also I thought joel alexander as going to be huge baller in the nba, thought he was going to be excellent player |

![]() I was sure J. Lamb will top 5 talent out of last years draft when all said and done. He still has time to become a good player but top 5 of his class, not really..

![]() I was adamant that we needed to draft Gerald Green when I was on high school. I honestly thought he was the next T-Mac. Turned out that Charlie V and even Joey Graham have had better careers.

![]() Oden I guess. I thought he's definitely going to be the new great center. But that's injuries. So not sure it counts. I still think he had that talent.
Rudy Gay actually. I loved his talent pre-draft. I probably would've taken him no.1. But he's worse than I thought he would be. |

![]() Gerald Green.
I read an article on him in slam when he was still in high school and way before the draft. they're were saying how he has a great work ethic and in the gym 24/7. and that had me sold.... i guess he was only dunking 24/7 |

![]() I thought Beasley was going to turn into a beast after he left Miami. Things were looking good during his first year in Minnesota, but now look at him!
He's only a beast tank commander. :chuck: |
