Default Lebron wants Nash & Crawford in Miami

Oh Lebron...again wanting help!

Besides! Get a damn deal done before talking about this shit. God i hate the Heat!!

Quote:
LeBron James tweeted today that he would like star guards Jamal Crawford and Steve Nash to join him on the Miami Heat. Last offseason James famously took less money to join forces with other superstars in Miami in an attempt to win an NBA title.

“Would love to see @JCrossover in a Heat uni! What u guys say?” he tweeted today referring to Atlanta Hawks Jamal Crawford.

A second tweet shortly followed up asking for the services of Phoenix Suns point guard Steve Nash, “Maybe @SteveNash in a Heat uni! So we can help each other get our 1st ring.”

The two-time NBA Most Valuable Player joined the Miami Heat in 2010 where he teamed up with Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade. In the 2011 NBA Finals, they fell to the Dallas Mavericks, 4-2.

This is why we have a lockout in the first place, Lebron.

If Nash ever puts on a Miami Heat jersey, you my as well just kiss the league goodbye. Even if he's pushing 40, giving Nash those kind of offensive weapons is too deadly. Luckily, Stevie isn't a ring chaser. I'd bet money that he retires a Phoenix Sun.

That would be sad. An amazing career wasted by a cheap owner.
Rather he goes anywhere for a couple years and has another chance. Even if it's Miami or LA.
I want to watch him play meaningful games.

Nash in Miami would be a disaster. Wade and Lebron both need the ball in their hand.. wtf is Nash going to do? Play off the ball?

He'd be under utilized. But a disaster?
Best shooter in the game, ultimate pro. Next to two of the best wing defenders who are a little childish. It's not perfect in some ways, but it's a clear fit in others.
Not to mention, Miami could've certainly used a great creator in the finals. LeBron was just trying to get rid of the ball most of the time.

This thread is so ridiculous..... the apparent big three needs to be a big 5. LBJ is such a moron. Maybe he should focus on helping Chalmers get his first ring.

Bosh would no longer be part of the big three...... or four, but he'd be a key cog in the big five. How's that for being a caged wolf?

Idk how someone can call Robin Lopez stiffy game as 'looking great', but the other two at least look worthy of their salaries right now.
Who would've guessed before they hooked up with Nash.

Gortat looked fine a couple years ago and Frye sucks imo. Really, they look ok at times but the word Great should not be anywhere near their names.

well they performed quite well this year, especially frye and gortat who clearly had a break through season under nash especially with the low expectations. whats so wrong with calling them great?

It's all a matter of opinion of course. But do you really consider Frye and Gortat great players?

Yes Frye and 'great' don't sound together.
But Nash certainly helped them a lot.
Frye is playing the best ball of his life with Nash.

Gortat showed promise as a rebounder, but his current scoring is entirely due to Nash.
Well, not entirely, but you could cut 5 points off it if you take Nash off the table.
It's like Jonas-Jasikevicius combo in this Eurobasket.
Except that Nash is maybe still the best point guard in the world at treading the paint and switching speeds (or at least 2nd after CP3). While Jasikevicius tried a lot, couldn't pull it off anymore --> some of his short passes weren't nearly as easy as those that Gortat is getting.

does the word great have to be borderline or all-star calibre performance or status? i think they did extremely well just because, as i said before, the massive breakthrough they had. channing was on fire this season and gortat exploded from a backup center in orlando to a starting center that produced close to 18 and 10 numbers. emphasis on the word "close".

channing was on fire this season and i was almost sure that he was going to win the 6th man of the year, isn't that good enough be considered a great season?

yes give credit to nash that helped out gortat's scoring, but isn't that was a center or big mans offensive responsibility (through pnrs and cuting)? to pretty much be the pg's best option in scoring in the paint? gortat has done his fair share of getting points by himself, and the huge improvment this season also made him a most improved player candidate.

i dont think nash is the second best pg in switching speeds and treading the paint, probably derrick rose, deron williams and a bunch of others would be better than nash. but when it comes to court vision and offensive playmaking intelligence, i agree, nash is second to paul with rondo coming in at a close third

Yeah, lets stack a team and not have to wok hard for a championship.
That kind of attitude is too prevelant in our society. Not just with Lebron, but with regards to allot of people.

They want to work the system so they get handed things without working hard for it.
