Refs did a good job helping wade out. I coulda swore they were whistle happy every time Wade had the rock.

So, hands down Kobe. KB is more mature, knows the game, he can go inside outside, will make the last second shot.

Kobe fans have no respect for his supporting cast. Wtf would he do without gasol

seeing stuff like this sums up what i think about the lakers.

Quote:
The Los Angeles Lakers (40-13) used a balanced effort without Kobe Bryant to reach the 40-win mark against the San Antonio Spurs (29-21). Pau Gasol led with 21 points, 19 rebounds and eight assists, Lamar Odom posted 16 points and 10 boards and Ron Artest helped with 18 points and five rebounds. Los Angeles attempted eight more foul shots than San Antonio and turned the ball over just 10 times. Tony Parker had 20 points and eight assists, Tim Duncan tallied 16 points and 15 rebounds and Manu Ginobili scored 21 points on 7-for-11 shooting off the bench.

LA on the other hand - Kobe = still stacked...

Lebron has to do more to make up for the fact that he has to run the floor with Jamario Moon aka Brickfestival, Anderson Varejao aka Sideshow Bob with no Talent, an aging Anthony Parker and a Bi-polar Delonte West.

If you could put Lebron on a GOOD team, with good players around him and you'd see.

Lebron makes his team. Kobe makes his team BETTER.
I don't understand your post AT all.... I don't even know which side you are arguing for?

Yes, LA without Kobe is still stacked! They will win games without him! Cleveland won't win anything.

Yes Lebron makes his team but he is much more willing to make the smart pass when he is heavily defended. Give him better players and I am sure he will give the ball up to them more. Lebron distributes.

Whether or not Kobe makes his team better is very debateable to me. I think he is a chucker, the only reason he makes tough shots is because he is stupid enough to take them. The post above me, by osamu, perfectly illustrates my point.

As for Kobe carrying his team in the playoffs last year, did you see Gasol's numbers?!?

He scored 18.3 a game, shot .580% and pulled down 11 boards! Without Gasol, nothing was happening for Kobe.

Why is that the measure? Lebron has been playing with awful teammates. Kobe has had the luxury of playing on some championship calibre teams!

The real measure is what would happen if they switched teams and we all know what that would look like.

Also, does this mean if Kobe breaks snaps both his ACLs and can only crawl around a basketball court he is still better than Lebron until he wins a championship?! Please.

Lebron is an amazing talent.. nba has not seen a man with the combination of his size, speed and power

he is better then Kobe.. he makes his teamates better.. he is a true Mvp
but the media won't make that comparison until Lebron wins championships

I personally think Bosh is better then Duncan, Garnet and Gasol.. but since he has no ring, and has not advanced past first round, he won't get that respect

think about it... if lebron retires and has no rings, is he still better then Kobe?
they say Duncan is the best Power forward of all time, better then barkley, Malone etc..
because he has 4 rings

Honestly, i think that at the end of both careers Kobe will be considered the best one.
Simply LBJ relies a lot on his athleticism (and refs calls, a lot of refs calls) while Kobe, with his skills, could be able to play and score 'till he'll be 40, like MJ (apart from injury and the will to play that much).
Kobe is gettin old, he's keeping his energies to be able to play at a good level along the full season, i think he's not giving 100% all the time. You cannot compare them now, LB has a great advantage only because his age. Imho

Lebron is better there too, that's just a myth that Kobe is "the best".
wow no way in hell is that true, Lebrons hit like 2 game winners in his career how the hell can he have more he might've attempted more cuz clevelands nowhere close to the lakers level in the years past but that stat is wayyyy off plus how creidble is that website I need film proof. and Youtube doesnt seem to have any

People look at Kobe now and forget that he was a lot like LeBron early in his career - incredible athlete, fast, strong. Kobe gets it though. As he's gotten older he's had to change how he plays to adapt to his ever-decreasing athleticism, i.e. developing the best mid-range game in the league, working to be the best post-up guard in the league, etc. At some point LeBron will realize that he can't rely on his brute strength and freakish athleticism for his whole career and he'll mold his game to reflect that.

Completely false.
Show me these "stats".

In fact, I saw the complete opposite, where Lebron was horrendous in the clutch.

You think I haven't seen that?
You think one buzzer beater automatically makes you a better clutch player than Kobe? You got to be kidding me.

Lebron's hit 2-3 in his entire CAREER from what I remember.

Kobe's hit more this SEASON.
