The Brooklyn Nets are now willing to go forward with a trade for Jordan Hill despite a huge tax hit.

The Nets can acquire Hill using their Disabled Player Exception.

The Los Angeles Lakers are talking to multiple teams about Hill, who does not figure in their long-term plans.

The cost of acquiring Hill would be approximately $17 million to the Nets.

The Phoenix Suns and Dallas Mavericks have also discussed a trade for Hill with the Lakers, according to ESPN's Dave McMenamin.

Doug Smith on the fan just said the Raptors only need is a back to the basket PF.

To say this guy is out to lunch is a gross understatement.

Raptors need a good starting C or at least a better and more experienced Center than JV to secure promotion to the 2nd playoffs round. We have at least 2 legit players in each of other 4 positions.

He was also on the radio the other day, and he said what happens with Kyle Lowry isn't a huge deal because if you lose him you go out and get a guy like Eric Bledsoe or let Greivis Vasquez run the point with minimal drop off.

I swear, the shit that comes out of his mouth makes me wonder wtf he's got going on upstairs (i picture a hamster in a wheel). I don't think the guy has a clue when it comes to basketball. Maybe he'd be better as a hockey guy?

The Cleveland Cavaliers have held trade talks with the Dallas Mavericks, Detroit Pistons and Indiana Pacers on Luol Deng.

There is little traction on the talks as no team seems inclined to give up highly valued assets for Deng, who will be a free agent in the offseason.

Deng is determined to test free agency before making a decision on whether to re-sign with the Cavaliers.

Deng will be seeking a deal in the $12 million to $13 million per season range.

Great trade for GSW, only giving up Bazemore and Brooks, two guys they don't even play.

Having Blake as a steady influence in the 2nd unit, and a guy who's capable of playing minutes with Steph is a nice addition. They need to trade for a reliable, productive PF now, and get rid of Speights.

I like Steve Blake, but he always gets traded to a team I don't like.

A) they have been beating my team more often then not.
B) The NBA always makes Portland play 2 of 3 games IN Golden State.
C) Bogut elbows people in the face, and the refs toss out players that got hit.
