Dwyane Wade has opted out of his contract with the Miami Heat.

LeBron James exercised his Early Termination Option earlier in the week.
The big 3 make their move...will KL join them?

If all 3 take 15 mil each, add in Lowry at 10 - here's the advantage of no state taxes that will come into play, then add in Napier at 1 and Cole at 2, that leaves enough for Allen still and round out the rest with vet mins as before.

Was obvious this was going to happen. Gonna come down to how much they are willing to sacrifice and who they can add.

If they were smart they wouldn't resign Wade. The guy is done, stop trying to carry him to another chip. Get rid of the dead weight and find a better player. Same with Allan, he's done and can't even hit 3s that well anymore, and does nothing else.

I loved both Wade and Allen in their prime. But they're of no use to a run for another chip.

Bosh is looking for 15-16 mil and I'd suspect you could look at equal pay for the other 2. Personally it would be more fair to go 13-Wade, 15-Bosh, 17-LBJ but regardless, they can make some moves now.

I can see Allen taking less. There were also a few un drafted players (esp at C) that would jump at the chance - like Bachynski for cheap cheap.

Wasn't Allen always taking the min? Also no way wade is gone, they will pay him 12 mill because if his work for the franchise. U guys don't get how loyalty works do u? Don't kick players who sacrificed so much to the curb, Riley gets it and that's how he attracts agents with relative ease cause their franchise is one if the best in the league

About Wade, Chiggmo was just making a point but of course we all know he's gonna stay.

As for Allen, as Clutch said, mini mle - will probably sign for the vet min now.

Sad thing? IF KL goes, there'll most likely be no compensation back

Yeah, Lebron apparently is seeking the max. The other two though will not get max deals imo, neither is worth max money.

Imo they will sign a contract that starts out around 12mil tbh. If so they can probably offer KL 9-10mil

They now have 55mil in cap space...I think they will really offer Lowry a difficult offer to turn down.

they wont offer KL more then 6, kl is injury prone and imo, doens not fit well with that team.

you guys need to give lowry some credit, he does love being here. his relationship with the others looks strong, i dont get why he would leave.

They will offer him more than 6mil if the money is there. And this injury prone crap is bullshit.

I give KL lots of credit, unlike some if he leaves it will be for a contender and I'll be happy for him. He out right said he wants to compete for a title - the Raps are a ways from that. It could be pressure on MU or to increase the offer or both but I'm sure he wants the trophy - as any competitor would - the Raps might get there in a couple years but then you're asking KL to give up years in his prime on an uncertainty.

As for the 6 mil offer, he just made 6mil and that's way under for what he brings on the court as a 2 way pg that can take over games.

Yeah, he could get anywhere in the 9-12 range IMO and as for this injury prone stuff - bs, I agree.

Bosh is seeking the 15-16 range but probably will come in around 15. I think Wade will get the same though he should be less. I'd say LBJ at 20. There are no other players except Cole now at 2 and Napier at 1. That's 53 mil. Sign KL to 10 and that's 63 mil. Personally, I'd rather Deng go there as he'd fit really well.

Ideally: Napier, Deng, LBJ, Bosh, Birdman with Wade off the bench.
Possible: KL, Wade, LBJ, Bosh, Birdman (vet deal) with Napier off the bench.

Possible vet deals to fill out the roster to add to Cole
Haslem
Allen
Lewis
Oden
Jones

Watch Boozer get amnestied and he signs for the vet min.
Could add a super cheap non guaranteed contract or 2 from the un drafted ones this year or the d league.

They have some options - really depends on what the 3 sign for.

I don't think they will be able to sign KL for 10 mil if the big three already puts miami at 53 mil. Isn't their cap at 55m?
