Default Last nights Kings/Lakers game.

I managed to watch this game and if the Raps fans think the NBA refs have an agenda against them you should have seen this game! If the refs that called this game didnt have a wager on the outcome I would be extremely surprised. So many non calls on the Lakers. It was almost sad to watch as the Kings should have won this game outright.

I will say one things about these Kings. Anyone on here that said this team sucks is dead wrong. They are a bunch of young guys that play there GUTS out for Westphal! It was almost refreshing to see all these kids having fun and actually trying for the the entire 6 quarters! I was hoping maybe some of the Raptors players might have watched this game to see what hustle is all about. Sure they lost but with a few calls going there way in the last few minutes of regulation and the first overtime the Lakers were toast!

I look forward to watching the Kings in the future as they are a team that with another draft this year and with all the young potential they have I feel they will be a force to be reckoned with in the not so distant future.

They are a more entertaining version of the Blazers teams of 07-08 and 08-09 imo.

Man did you see at the end of the fourth the monster dunk by some euro, then the Kobe rejection by Green? IT WAS SICK

Actually. there was some bad calls going both ways. And Omri Casspi is from Israel, not "some Euro".

OKC is now overtaking Portland as a young team that will contend in the future

There is alot of things I find wrong with the original post.

First of all, one bad apple doesn't make the whole batch rotten. Tim Donaghy was the only referee who made bets on games. B/c of one isolated incident, you think every single refs do the same thing? The NBA is extremely strict with who it hires as refs, but they aren't perfect. Tim Donaghy is one such case.

Second, it wasn't like this game was reffed TOTALLY one-sided. Don't let the biased-ness of the Kings announcers who called that game fool you.. for example they made a huge deal on Gasol's "shove" on one King's player to get into position for the game-tying basket in the first overtime. do you REALLY think that was a foul on Gasol, yet the announcers were blatantly calling it as if it was.

Great game. WhyTF does Evans hold onto the ball for 20 seconds of the shot clock every possession at half?

Also, the Kings offence is so bad. They get into their sets 20 seconds into the shot clock. Watching the raps offence today was a breathe of fresh air, regardless of shooting, the Raps execute on offence.

That was a great game. If the refs called a loose ball foul on Gasol, the Kings would have won. I don't think the game was rigged or what so ever. It was just a bad job done by the refs on that play.

the kings, wow who knew all those picks would finally come around so soon

that team has heart, passion, toughness, and intelligence and there young

everyone talks about Portland, well Blazers these guys looked poised to take your spot as the best future young team in the league, wouldn't be surprised if this team takes over as a western power in a few years

omri Cassipi? this guy can play, he's tough, skilled, and not afraid to get in the other teams face

09 draft Evans 4th pick, Cassipi 23 rd pick, Jon Brockman 38th( this guy is impressive)
08 draft Jason Thompson 12th pick
07 draft Spencer Hawes 10th pick
06 draft quincy douby 18 or 19th?
05 draft Fransisco Garcia 23rd pick

signed Beno Udrih who is servicable guard, acquired Nocioni through a trade, acquired Donte Greene in that Artest trade with Houston

Kings v Lakers and the refs play their part. what else is new?

btw Israël could be considered partially European. Like in song contests and soccer tournaments they are.

Not really. Kobe pushed off on Rodriguez to get free, he knew he wasn't going to be called for it, and Rodriguez oversold the hit. The result is Rodriguez on the ground and the Lakers with a win.

If you want to be labeled as the best nba player to currently exist, you must have a huge supporting staff..

Considering Westphal and his coaching staff were looking directly at Kobes feet and didnt complain afterwards, I'd say he was inbounds.
