I would say yes to LA. you so conveniently decided to ignore the bolded part in the quote where you said having fields and ross would completely replace derozan's effect at the sg position, which is so untrue that you are indeed trolling, or you really do lack the intelligence to see that's not true

The added defense would make up for the lost offense, which would be more easily absorbed anyways. Think about that, brah. Do you even lift?

strictly speaking at the sg position? no it wouldn't. and who are you to say demar won't come in with improved D this year? he's improved some part of his game each year.

Who are you to say he will? He hasn't improved much defensively. You don't need to try and convince me, we disagree on Derozan's value... but to even scoff at a suggestion that he could be moved for a player of Aldridge's talent is absurd. Schtick aside, it's a no brainer.

Also, who are you to say Landry and Ross won't be much improved this year? Landry being fully recovered and Ross no longer being a rookie..... why is that so far-fetched?

he focused on other parts of his game which were extremely raw and given the team's culture under BC, defence not having been his priority is understandable.

in the NBA we know one great player> two good ones. I don't see either improving enough to have derozan's impact on the floor, so they can't possibly make up for it.

of course the addition of LA would, more so even, but that's not what's being discussed.

It is what was being discussed though, until you tried to change the focus to being about 'my schtick'. In my view, you're overvaluing DeRozan and both Landry and Terrence could make up the difference....add in Alan Anderson and I doubt we'd miss DD all that much given that LA would be added as well. I think you're underestimating how much both Landry and Ross can improve as well. If Philly can trade Jrue, there is no question that we can trade a lesser player in DD. DeRozan is hardly a 'great player' and thus he's not better than two good ones. He's still in the same tier as Landry, who has arguably had a better season than DD in the past.

I was getting a little irked by Pzabby's insistence on his position as the only truth.... felt like he was trying to bully his way through the discussion, so I simply responded with some sarcasm to mock the idea of someone posting so bullishly as if wielding an incredibly brutish intelligence yet giving the idea that such force is meager and unnecessary.

I think he toned it down after, and I'm sure my agitating style didn't help avoid any escalation.... hopefully we just disagree from here on out, I think neither of us can be proven right or wrong until so much more is shown by the player that causes the angst between us.

Just a playful mockery.

By the way, I can't stand rumors. I don't put much into them. I'm a ball player, not a hair sprayer.
