just thought I would post it because it was a great game

big time upset, Bobcats just won't let go, looks like another team in the battle for 7 and 8 in the east

Bobcats remind me of the Damon Stoudamire 96ish Raptors. No one expected to ever have a battle, but every game the Raps showed up...ok..almost every game.

With Larry Brown and some nice players, they are a team to watch!

Now that was a good game, the Cats are looking like a really tough team. Despite Kobe fouling out, the refs were doing everything in their power to try an get a Lakers victory, or so it seemed. Kobe should have fouled out before the end of regulation time for sure, then there was Lamar under the basket pushing off, Famar and Bynum with hard slaps on Diaw, nothing called, it was pretty amazing that despite all this the Cats stuck in there an got the victory.

Well of course im slightly biased, always cheering for the underdog, but the Cats really werent gettin many calls. Pornstache got called for a flagrant, he tried to stop a full court breakaway by pushing Lamar. Bynum also got one for elbowing an in the air Wallace pretty hard in the ribs, who couldnt continue afterwards, Wallace that is, didnt hear if he was ok or not.

Bobcats seem under predictable.
I remember two seasons ago I put money on them the next year to make the playoffs.
And the didn't.

When they beat Jordan and the Bulls, that was a upset.
probably bigger than this double OT upset.

So seems like G Wallace will be out for a bit..
"Gerald Wallace was diagnosed with having 30-40 percent of his left lung collapsed and a non-displaced fracture of the fifth rib following a CT-Scan at Centinela Hospital in Los Angeles. He did not accompany the team to Portland.

Wallace had a chest tube inserted into the lung to help restore it to functional capacity, but will remain in the hospital over the next 48 hours for observation. Additional information about his progress and a timetable for his return will be updated in the coming days ahead.

The injury occurred after Wallace was fouled by Lakers center Andrew Bynum as he drove the lane in the fourth quarter with 2:22 left to play in regulation. He was immediately taken off the floor and received x-rays at the arena. Preliminary pictures were inconclusive, which prompted Lakers team physicians to arrange the additional examination."
