Rumour threads started by citing the bleacher report should be banished to the oblivion that is the trade-rumours thread.

wait till the playoffs.. plus, lebron can/is a point forward, carmelo is a strict scorea at will sf. and we all know how good a point guard kobe is when things dont go the lakers way cough "27 shots" cough. theres no one there to distribute the ball, unless we givem jose plus miami pick and get say barnes/blake in a three way trade?

kobe can distribute properly if he wanted to, and the thing about carmelo is he's a great post up forward, something lebron should do when wade handles the ball.

this is all hypothetical, but this trade idea can leave one thinking

not only that, but ron artest is still a good trade piece for a big man if this trade does go through

Pau Gasol is the the number one scoring option on the Lakers, he is a huge piece of the team and there is no way he'd be traded.

Default Lakers and Nuggets in initial talks

ESPN sources are saying Bynum for Melo works financially, with possibly Denver shedding some salary.
Nuggets not interested in Odom or Artest.

Sources: Los Angeles Lakers, Denver Nuggets have initial Carmelo Anthony talks - ESPN Los Angeles
