Some truth there, but if he was a hockey player you'd be all up in his nutsack. Say what you will, he's one of the best players of all time. I hate him and have no problem admiting that.

Jordan had many negative qualities too.... don't make him out to be a saint. As for better? They're in the same league.

I never said he didn't, as far as the latter of you're comment its a matter of opinion. Kobe has nothing on Jordan.

looks like he won't have a tough time passing Bird either. That's more of a longevity thing though.

Depending on how long he decides to play, he could very well pass everyone on that list shown there.

Kobe wants to be the greatest of all time, and to be honest, if he plays for another 4 -5 years doing the things he is now, he likely will be.

A little early to judge though.

If Kobe's a ball hog, wouldn't that make mj a ball hog mentioning he's already got more assists? Just saying some serious double standards with Michael Jordan. He's probably the best dont get me wrong. Kobe's definitely in his league.

Yeah. He's averaging 5 APG this year, and there is almost 40 games left. If he plays most games, he'll probably add at least another 175 assists this year. He's under contract next year, and he said he is committed to finishing this contract (might play longer too). It's reasonable to expect him to average 4+ assists next year. If he is healthy and can play 75 games, that's another 300+ assists. As long as he does not suffer a major injury, he will move into the 20s on the all-time list sometime next season.

He's also played almost 200 games more than Jordan and MJ left the game in his prime.

Yup. Still he's played quite a few more games. Good point though, forgot about that.

Meh Kobe would be nothing without the world class talent he's always had all around em.

Say what you want but all the rings him in shaq got were because of shaq, way more than because of Kobe. Meanwhile Jordan outside of Pippen (who he still could of done it without) did it on his own, and no I'm not saying he never had players around him.

Kobe is NOT on Jordan's level. He can score all the points he wants, he still never will be. A stat line isn't what makes you great.

lol dude...way to rig your argument. how do you go from considering kobe and shaq as a tandem while completely disregarding scottie pippen in your examination of michael jordan?

scottie pippen was a top 5 player in the league, basically averaged 19/8/5 through his prime, how can you just cast that aside? weak.

Bulls got like 50+ wins without Jordan. I think Chigs is just pulling your chain.
