Default Kobe: I Didn't Want To Leave

Ahhh .... I guess it pays to be your team's franchise player. You ask and you shall receive. Kobe wanted out because Mitch wouldn't surround him with the players that would take them over the top and presto ..... Kobe gets Pau.

“I think they had me buying [Michael Jordan’s] house in Chicago,” Bryant said, only half-jokingly.

Turning serious, Bryant said, “It worked out for the best. I didn’t want to leave here. Circumstances being what they were, it was very difficult to see myself still being here, but I’m very thankful that it did work out. Everything happens for a reason.”

He hates him since LeBron gets more media coverage and is constantly referred as being the best player in the NBA... in Kobe's mind there is only 1 good basketball player and that's him... he & he alone should be worshiped like the God he is in Kobe's mind...

What I don't understand is why people STILL hate him?
After how he has conducted himself this season, is there really any reason to hate him?
He is the hardest worker in the league, the most competitive, and also the best.

I agree, as a player I think he is, but please people dont start a discussion about what he did outside the court.

On the court I love Kobe and I think he's still the best in the NBA right now. Its his off the court character which I'm weary about. And I'm not saying that because of the Colorado case, just other things I've read over the years.

But, can't knock his skills on the court. The man is simply amazing, but still no Magic Johnson.
