If that was LeBron he would be laughing it up. That's what sets him and Kobe apart.

Oh pleaseeee...
who really gives a fuck about how focused they appear to be...
Kobe's a great player, definitely one of the greatest, but he is certainly no Jordan.
IMO he is trying wayy to hard to win this 'Jordan vs. Kobe' debate...
he wants more rings and mvps...
then he wants ppl to look back at his career and remember how "" focused "" he was...
the way I see it, he only won 1 ring acting as the "number 1" guy.

K first off i dont know where the fuck you got Jordan no one mentioned anything about Jordan and who cares about how focused they appear to be? Kobe's not faking. It's Kobes killer-instinct and FOCUS on the goal that sets him and Lebron apart, dont get me wrong lebron is an incredible athlete but he doesn't have that fire in him to do whatever it takes to win. That's why Lebron and his team have under achieved in the playoffs 2 years in a row.

Basketball is a "team" sport. It doesn't matter if kobe won rings as the no. 1 option or no.2 option. He still contributed a lot. We can say the same thing about shaq, like he could have not won rings without kobe. Or the same about jordan like he could not have won rings without pippen and rodman.

Shaq never won shit until he played with Kobe and vice versa. Nobody can do it alone, period. Kobe and Shaq were 1a) and 1b), take your pick as to which one was which. Me i could care less, the guy hates to lose and is the most dedicated and driven player in the league.

Wow. I think this post deserves my first ever . It's that ridiculous.

1. Who even brought up this comparison of him and Jordan? And the fact that it's argued so much, and Jordan fans constantly bring it up... just goes to show maybe he IS that close to Jordan that it's worth discussing. And lo and behold, again its a Jordan fan who brings up this "Kobe vs. Jordan" debate, and most of the time it always is.

2. And fuck him for trying to be one of the best ever. LOL at that incomprehensible logic. That's exactly the type of attitude you need to be successful. And stop discreditting Kobe's contribution to Shaq's 3 rings.. Kobe's on his way to winning yet another one THIS year, and most like will end up with 3 or more that he's won without Shaq. Quit playa hatin.

Do you have stats to show me or are you just making up your own assumptions to back up this refutation?

2. dont recall telling anyone to 'fuck him for trying to be one of the best ever'. I'm just stating the facts here, what happend when Shaq left LA? Kobe barely got em' to the playoffs.
Put Kobe in Lebron's shoes, do you think Cavaliers would still be the best in the NBA?

And as for the whole focused thing on the bench, cut the fucking crap. Turn around, be polite, and just give Chris a smirk at least. It's not like he's trying to solve a fucking calculus problem on the bench.

I see it all as show n' tell.
And IMO, unless Kobe wins another 3 championships with the Lakers (acting as the #1 guy), no one should ever argue that he was one of the best to ever play.

Yes, Jordan had Pippen and Rodman, but he fucking carried that team everyy season.
When Shaq was in LA, it wasn't the Kobe show, it was the fucking Diesel's show.

Kobe may never be considered #1 but he is and will be in the top 10 of all time thats a real comment on his ability. He may not have the untapped talent that LBJ has but he is now a more complete player.

Presonally I don't like him but he is a leader and winner.
