Knicks to Sign Artest?

What the hell is D'antoni going to do with Artest?
If he's going to be signed for Mid-Level, I would want B.C. to go for a try.

If it was Thomas signing Artest, this would be in line.

But D'Antoni ?? You cant add that craziness to the Knicks.

This is a rumour? We've known for a long time how much Artest wants to play for the knicks (having grown up in Queensbridge). He wants the Knicks, but now with D'Antoni in charge, not sure if the feeling is mutual

It's even a possibility the Knicks could work a sign-and-trade with Sacramento, if the Kings would agree to it.
Who would the Knicks give up for him? Rose maybe?

Quote:
"Who wouldn't want to?" Artest said in the tunnel outside the Garden's locker rooms following yesterday's WNBA game between the Liberty and Monarchs. "I'm not going to talk about that stuff till July 1. I don't play for the money, I play for the love."
Touching statement Ron....

The Knicks would have to give something of worth. You can't just give an expiring to the Kings for Artest - they'd laugh in your face.

If you're getting someone like Artest for a MLE, do it anyway. Use him as a trade asset or just keep him. Shit, you're getting a former all-star for an MLE..

Dude, Artest picked up his option. He'll be in Sacramento this year.

And there's no way he signs for the MLE. He'll get much more than that.
