Knicks Knicks to re-sign Jeffries, buyout Brewer

Knicks To Buy Out Corey Brewer

The Knicks needed to make room for Jared Jeffries (whom they’re expected to sign when he clears waivers tomorrow), so someone needed to go, and Marc Stein is reporting that someone is Corey Brewer. Stein also claims that the Celtics, Spurs, Mavs and Thunder will all vie for Brewer’s services. He’ll need to be signed by tomorrow if he’s to be eligible for postseason play.

Well they are short on bigs, but Jeffries? And Brewer is a better player. Oh well, let's hope we pick him up although we have no room and better teams will be offering him a better situation.

Brewer reminds me of DeRozan... don't really know why we'd need him. As of now I'm happy with DeRozan/JJ combo, hope BC doesn't fuck with it.

Yea looks like he'll be joining the Celtics

and Troy Murphy might be going there too after his buyout with the Warriors

clearing out Erdih (sp?) and Harangody for Brewer and Murphy, the rich get richer.

Brewer could be the starting small forward we've been looking for. He is a proven winner coming out of Florida, even though Minny has had its struggles. I say buyout Reggie to make room for Brew.

Bayless/Jose
DD/Barbosa/Weems
Brewer/JJ/Kleiza
Amir/Ed
Bargs/Ajinca/Alabi

BC should sign him out now. Another player to the youth movement who plays defense.

Default Brewer bought out by Knicks

Knicks Buyout Brewer, Contenders Line Up Interest - RealGM Wiretap

I thought NYK would use him, he could have been a good piece. Oh well, I wonder who will take him.

I would like Jeffries to call her and here what she has to say there.. I'd pay to be in that 3-way conversation..
