Default Knicks looking to deal the "Fat Boys"

Apparently a Knicks exec said that they are actively shopping Curry and Z-Bo. Looks like the Knicks want to get more sleek and aerodynamic.

"The problem is that Zach still is seen as the Zach Randolph from Portland - he's got baggage - and people wonder if this is it for Eddy," said one executive. "And, they've got some rough contracts."

Curry has struggled for much of the season.

"The question is whether he's regressed or, is this it, he's not getting any better?" said the executive. "You have to remember, when Eddy came out of Chicago, he was regarded as someone who did not like to work and who did not like basketball. So do you blame Zach's presence, or do you say, Eddy doesn't have the upside the Knicks thought he had? In either case, the experiment with Zach has not worked."

The Knicks are hoping to hold onto David Lee, Nate Robinson and Jamal Crawford in any trade.

You weren't the only one SWAN. I just remembered to the strong games that Curry played against us last season and thought he was turning over a new leaf. Silly me for thinking that he'd improve on last season. Same goes for Randolph.

Randolph is very tough when he has a good veteran bigman beside him like he did with Sheed. He went for like 26+12 everynight beside Sheed. If he gets traded to a good team with a solid C beside him he'll go back to being a bigtime threat again. Him and Curry just dont work especially defensively.

I think Curry can be the same way, but unlike Randolph, you can question Currys motivation for wanting to play which is a huge problem.

Knicks should be looking at dealing Randolph to Sacramento for Artest.

i still have hope for randolph.
he's a good player who can get you a double-double any given night.
if you put him with a big C, he'll pay dividends.
add him to a team as a 3rd option, he'll be great.

curry is just a bust, plain and simple.
i dont see why any team would want that guy on their squad.

SAC doesnt want longterm deals for Artest, they want a young guy(s) and an expiring deal. Thats why theyve been asking for Lee and Balkman
