![]() Knicks Could Eventually Offer Carmelo Or Amar'e For Howard - RealGM Wiretap
This is weird of NYK if they're going to trade Amare or Melo for D12, I swear NYK wanted Amare and Melo, now they want them gone? Maybe because they've been losing lately. ![]() |

![]() I doubt melo would wanna leave after dieing to be there. Amare I could see going though.
In all likelihood nothing will happen :P |

![]() Dwight for Amar'e straight up wouldn't happen. Dwight has a lot more value than Amar'e. Therefore, New York would have to package in Amar'e and someone like Landry Fields or picks to match it up.

![]() Feel bad for Amare... he was helping resurrect basketball in NY before Melo arrived.... now this? I don't think he'd fetch Dwight either..... and I don't see NY trading Melo after the whole buildup. I think it'd be bad for FA business.
Obvious I don't feel terrible for him, he's making large coin, but still.... |

![]() fuckin carmelo is so one dimensional/overrated. Im glad Denvers become a better team WITHOUT him and that he is suffering in NY. it seems hes one of those guys that comes up with great stats, but doesnt necessarily improve the team. Kind of has the iverson effect going for him.
plus why was he in such a rush to get out of denver. the team was a consistent playoff team last few years, just a couple missing pieces away from being legit contenders. I dont know, i just got the vibe that he thought he was too good for that team and the city. he thought he was some sort of higher being, but really isn't nearly as good as the lebrons and durants and kobes of the league. well now karma is raping him up the ass! Denver now moves the ball around so much better and plays with much more energy. they have more versility and depth. GO NUGGETS GO, i hope they win it all this year. represent for the underdogs! |

![]() NYK will not trade for howard, even if they wanted to the magic would never trade him. i can see them letting him leave for nothing as they should once again be in the playoff hunt next season, top 4 IMO.
what NY needs is a PG more than anything, billups is done. |

![]() Amare > Carmelo. I seriously thought for a sec that the Knicks would make an impact at the playoffs, that is until they threw away 3 of their starters(all of whom were improving) for a one dimensional non defensive ovverrated piece of shit. Denver lookin better thats good, im really happy for them, but i was also happy for the knicks earlier when they had felton, chandler etc... Dwight howard is much better than carmelo and Amare. He brings defense and is the best center in the league. Amare isnt the best at his position, and the same oviously goes for carmelo.

![]() Sounds like a lot of people have changed their tune about Amare..... wasn't too long ago that I was hearing that he was the best thing since sliced bread and deserving of MVP votes.
Both he and Amare are what they are..... decent "tier 2" stars who are pretty damn one-dimensional. |

i said this from the start that the knicks would have been better to go after CP3. That's a scary PNR, and it's two players that would complement each other. I also don't think they would have been forced to give up as much. |
