I think he woulda done well with the Lakers if Jackson was still there. Bynum and Fisher + 1st for Evans and Cousins

I wouldn't do that if I were the kings honestly...

towards their teammates? if not, what has that got to do with anything?

you'd have to explain. his current play or his leadership? he's a 36 year old with awesome work ethic and ultimate pro lifestyle. If Nash was a 2, he'd be Ray Allen.

check the headcases on the Celtics the last 3 years. Just look through their rosters. Guys who had long suspensions or off court issues before Celts. There've been like 10 or close. Not just bigger names like Rasheed, but all the role players.
All of them were like angels on Celtics. Not all of them played well all the time. But they acted fine.
Sometimes it's even funny. Like, Tony Allen. He was a huge head case before KG arrived. Then he's an angel -- he was often injured but he stopped acting out. Then he goes to Memphis and -- right away --- he beats up OJ Mayo on their plane.
KG has a history of altercations with his teammates. people often confuse his intensity with leadership.

there antics have a lot to do towards their teammate regardless if its geared towards them. what type of leader goes on all fours and barks at a player? totally sounds like a guy who's gonna keep cousins in check.

Allen has always been one of my favourite players, but his comments on David West only show that he's a classless clown using the media to call someone out when they weren't even deserving of it. Completely unprofessional.

These aren't the championship Celtics anymore, so Tony Allen isn't relevant. Rajon Rondo is, though. Seems all that leadership hasn't put a stop to his immaturity issues the 5-6 seasons he's been there.

I think you are confusing leadership and likability.
they aren't trying to be liked by Jackson Filth or be role models for kids.
But there is a long pattern of keeping headcases in check.
And what's this about Rondo? Is he losing them games? Playoff games? Is he lazy? Is he smoking weed? Getting suspensions? I must have missed something.

I would take a chance on him. Casey is a strong-willed but fair coach, and he has demonstrated that he can communicate well with the players. I think he would be a great coach for Cousins.

If the Raptors are interested, I would imagine that Amir Johnson would be included in a package for Cousins. Ed Davis could also go the other way.

Rondo has long been known to be immature off the court in the locker room, which is why the Celtics looked to trade him this past offseason.

And imagine KG getting in Cousins face and berrating him on the bench like he did to Big Baby. I'm sure that wouldn't end well.

I like what Cousins can bring, but don't see him being here. We have a task-master coach. Be to practice over an hour before early, dress code, accountablitity, respect, etc. He'd be a headache.

Cousins is going to want the coach to be his bitch and give him minutes anyway. Wrong team.

Who would want this guy? five games into the season and your getting coaches DNP for attitude. This guy is a dime a dozen PF with an attitude to rival Marbury. If the Kings trade him they will be taking a loss, because nobody is going to want take this on so early on in a fragile season (maybe the Bobcats).

i'd take my chances with good track record and strong veterans. Stepping out of Cousins way has not worked well.

re rondo, trying to trade for CP3 and Westbrook+Perkins does not reflect those concerns.

I'm pretty sure we wouldn't!

Character is a thing you know. Cousins strikes me as the type of guy that would bolt from Toronto at the first opportunity.

How do you know have you ask him? Have you asked him what team he wants to be traded to?

I say just because a guy has an attitude problem does not make it so he can't be successful in the right situation...

I would love to have him on our roster. Just what it would take to land him is the real question?
We are certainly not going to trade JV for him!
