Funny. Lebron is going to completely ruin their 1-2 year window of competing. Stupid move.

Brooke Lopez will be an all-star next season. Brooklyn will give Miami fits if they meet in the playoffs next season if KG is on his game.

All the Nets starters are either All Stars this season or were All Stars last season.

They have two legit 7 footers who fit very well. Their wings are big. Their point guard is huge. A very tall, very talented, very well shooting team.

They could use a Matt Barnes / Corey Brewer type off the bench (a defender / better athlete).

But really an impressive roster with a 1-2 year window. Miami isn't a sure winner at all. Don't know why anyone wouldn't like this deal for the Nets.

But it's good for Boston too, they can rebuild now and they get some picks that could be pretty good (especially the 2018 one).

Is that a joke? KG will be so worn out come playoff time he'll be lucky to be able to walk. Also Brooke will never be an all-star IMO. Not because hes bad, just not THAT good.

Will be interesting to see how the C's build around Rondo. Getting the picks wasn't a bad start.

Never? He was an All-star this season.

And imo KG will help him be even better. As for KG's health, they'd be smart to limit his minutes at times and do what SA does with Duncan

Sorry missed the word again after all-star. Just don't think of either Lopez personally. Guess I don't watch em much either, so my opinion is pretty meaningless towards him I suppose lol.

If they really limited KGs minutues all year, then yes its possible, but he's still going to get worn out during playoff games, KG is a great player but he's well beyond his prime and it's showed for a while.

Depending on what the goes on with the heat this offseason because who knows what they'll get as far as vet mins n such go just like last year but Brooklyn still won't touch them if the Heat keep up their level of play, still a solid team of course, but I still don't see them winning any titles.

ROFL. Sadly it may be true haha.

It will be interesting to see who they can get for their bench.

He's good. He was the best player of a near-50 wins team this season. How is he not good?

Brook Lopez wasn't their best player. He wasn't even their second best player.

KG and Pierce know how to win - and that is what Johnson, Williams, and Lopez need. Direction when the pressure is on. A finger pointing to who the ball should go to. Confident communication.

If Pierce and KG can be healthy and effective they could definitely take down the Heat.

But regardless of whether they can beat the Heat, I just love this move for the rivalry it's going to create in New York. It's going to be a brutal war if the Knicks have any fight in them. Those 4 games next season will be must-see-tv.

Bryan Gutierrez ‏@BallinWithBryan 1m

JET said on KESN-FM that he's told his wife that he'll get tattoos of the teams he's played for to make up for the C's one.

The "not even 2nd best" part is ridiculous.

It's debatable if he was their best player in the second half of the season when D-Will got into shape, but pre All Star game, he clearly was. And for the year overall, I'd say he was.

For all the crap he gets for his D (and much of it deserved), he was indispensable for the Nets' defense. And he was their most reliable scoring option. He was the Nets MVP this season.
