Stupid comments that are unnecessary. They already have the coach and talent to get to the playoffs, and management is already trying to add to that this summer by going after Batum and signing Roy. If the T-Wolves had been healthy last year, they stood a very good chance of making the playoffs. Rather than talking about losing patience, he should be talking about how he is confident in his squad, and then lead them to the post-season. If he wants to be considered all-nba, he should be able to at least get to the playoffs with Rubio and Pekovic.

Great. Another Allstar who is going down the same path... Looks like we've got another 'hold my team at ransom' scenario on the horizon.
Bill H is bang on, his comments should have been positive. Leave that crap out of the media you moron. |

the dude is only 23 years old, still a baby in the league, and already he's talking like this... these guys are bs, Minny was doing pretty good last season, then rubio got injured..
this why you have to love players like Garnett and Durrant.. loyal Last edited by creative1mm; 07-09-2012 at 10:17 AM. |

guy needs to worry about being more than a stat-chaser and start defending better to help his team grow. It's embarrassing that he'd throw his teammates under the bus and proclaim his greatness like this.

Why the heck not? Melo did it and got his wish. As will Dwight. And D_Williams. ETC.
This is the new NBA folks! LeBron, Wade and Bosh set the standard. No longer do you work with your team (Like MJ, Bird, Magic,...heck..Olajawan) , you hold your team at ransom to either stack it or bolt. I thought the new CBA would curb this. It's becoming harder and harder to stay a fan of this league. |

Durrant, well that was kind of premature, he's only been around a short time. love has only been in the league for 3 years! has he even made the allstar team yet? and he's already talking shit? |

It worked ok for Kobe. And yet he's not nearly the drama queen. This is more evidence of he system that emphasizes a franchise guy on each team isn't sustainable. Guys want to win more than they just want to collect a paycheck. As much as the comments were unnecessary, they were honest and didn't come across so much as do so and so or else. There's no ultimatum that I can see. If there is a root problem underlying this it would seem to be not enough player movement. I mean does spending 10 million on a guy with no knees really inspire a lot of confidence? I agree that he should be able to see the cup as at least half full, but he should also be able to see where the team is definitively improving from year to year and not have to wonder if it all gets blown up.
In any case, I remember when far too any players just took the money and did not really care about the game at the highest level. That was something far more detestable than this poorly expressed concern. Insider asks if he's even been an AS yet. One thing holding him back has been the losing record. |

at least KG stayed with his team for 12 years before he moved. some players now feel entitled to play for a superstar team without trying to win with their original team.
