he already showed some of his true colours during last season when he deliberately stamped on scola. Dirty.

shame coz i absolutely love his game. But then now he sees himself as big charlie, he might change his game, bet he takes even more 3s next year!

Great, first play like shit for two years while the team invests time and money in you, then sign a big contract and then ask out after 6 months.

Oh, and wildly overrate your skills in the process...

But still, the point is that T-Wolves management are actively trying to make upgrades and add assets.

Well, they are improving. I don't know how he could feel that they are not. They were 21-20 when Rubio got hurt, and 18-13 when Rubio was in the starting lineup with Love and Pekovic. They were on pace to make a historic turnaround from the year before, by doubling the previous season's wins total, and it would have been done in a shortened season! They are already going in the right direction.
They are not making the kinds of upgrades that are seen elsewhere. The team did improve immensely last season, but why not look at further improvements?

He's not wrong in suggesting that the team might end up blowing things up, if by blowing things up he means trading him to fill a bunch of needs. That might be a means of taking them farther in the long run, and he might have gotten those vibes.

i really hope these players get traded to dead beat teams and be forced to watch their old team win without them

God this angers me when it's so warped. Durant WAS on a perennial lottery team. The Sonics/OKC sucked. He's the reason they are not a complete disaster. Not the people playing around him. Him.

And so much this. Love is not nearly as good as he thinks he is.

hahahaha he certainly does overrate his skill level, I mean shit, there's what, 2-30 other guys in the NBA that average 26 and 13 right?

This is a circus or awesome this is.

points and rebounds aren't everything SJ, you know that. In fact, those are probably the two easiest categories to replace in this league statistically!

So you think he belongs in the same group with lebron and the rest like he implies ?
Howard only has 20 and 15, would any sane person take one over the other?

Maybe not right now, but the clear implication is that it's getting really close to that point.

Love doesn't impact winning like most of the top level talent he's playing with on team USA. He's still not a #1 option on offence, and his defence is still horrible(I still stand by my ranking Aldridge as the #1 overall PF currently). Maybe this experience will humble him and make him better being able to work with someone like Kobe. Blake Griffin needs to take a page out of Kobes book as well in working as hard as he can to improve his game.

What kind of upgrades do you think are realistic for Minny this off-season? Who could they have gone after and actually signed? They were rumoured to have tried to get Pau multiple times. The rumours were alive again after the Lakers got eliminated from the playoffs. There is reason to believe that Minny management is quite active in looking to improve the team.

Minny is willing to spend quite a bit of money to address their biggest weakness, the wing, so I don't see why he's not as happy as a pig in shit right now. Love gets to be the main man on a young rising team that has two potential all-stars next to him in Rubio and Pekovic.
