Since OKC got a team obviously KD has been their go-to guy. He quietly gets it done night in night out, but is that because he's a top 5 NBA player, or because he's just the marquis player on a shitty team?
This is the guy that takes what seems like half of OKC's shots.

So is KD a legit future cantidate for max money?

Would you trade Bosh for KD?

Is KD over rated?

If KD gains about 20 pounds he'll have much more presence in the paint, he just slithers through the D so far because he's so thin. SO yah if KD can get stronger he'll be the best in the league one day.

depends how this and next season goes and if he is able to carry teams like lebron and kobe on bad nights, but i believe in the future. yes.

Would you trade Bosh for KD?
No Bosh is way better of a player. once again no.

Is KD over rated?
no. He is talented and has had a couple of game winners.

If OKC came to me and said we'll take Bosh you take KD, I'd ask where do I sign. I wouldn't think twice about it.

You're basing KD's defensive liabilities on that chart you posted.

Look at his rebounding numbers (KD's) last year when he moved to SF. Look at the ways he's able to score the ball. The guy has the makings of a very, very special player.

In fact, I'd argue Durrant when I've seen him play this year, has actually gotten better as a defender. And if we want to discuss his defense, take a look at who's he had to guard and what position they play. They'll shed light on his numbers from last year.

Theoretically speaking, if I was starting a franchise, KD would be my number one choice to headline it. He'll likely be one of best players of this generation, while Bosh will be a mere afterthought.

I'd take Bosh for KD in a second, no hesitation.

OKC could be a potential trading partner, the only thing stopping them from competing is a legitimate power forward. They're not gonna deal KD, maybe Green + Sefolosha + 1st rounder.

Who knows. Cue the Toronto + OKC trade threads.

Sefolosha is a guy I wanted here badly last year. When he was given the chance in Chicago he proved himself. Plus he's a cheap addition.

He can rebound, defend, slash, and hit the odd jumper. Nice glue guy.

And Sefolosha. Presti sure knows how to build a team from the ground up.

I've said it before, OKC will be better than Portland in two years.

if he played shooting gaurd more then he did terrible job playing defence because (games so far of all the people he mainly defended)
kings game: kevin martin 25 points
Detroit game: ben gordan 25 points
Portland game: brandon roy 16 points
Lakers game: kobe bryant 31 points
Rockets game: Trevor Ariza 21 points
Orlando game: J.J redick 5 points
Kings game: Tyreke evans 20 points
clippers game: Al thorton 15 points or you could say rasual butler 8 points (dont know who he gaurded that night)
San antonio game: K.Bogans 17 points
clippers game: rasual butler 8 points
heat game: d-wade 22 points
Orlando game: VinceCarter 18 points

so no he has not improved his defence. but he has improved his rebounding thats for sure, now im not trying to say he is a bad player, what im trying to say is he wont work for this team because he is below average defence player

This is the guy that takes what seems like half of OKC's shots.

What does it matter? He still has two years left on his rookie deal before he hits the end of his rookie deal. His qualifying offer then is $8M. Lots of time for him to develop yet. He's further ahead than CB4 was at that age and mostly everyone seems to thinks he's max money right now.

Wouldn't make sense given that they're different players, playing different positions with their entire teams built around them.

No. He is credited as one of the most exciting, prolific scorers in the game today. His stats back that up both in production and more importantly, as he's played on a bad team, efficiency.

He plays small forward. He's a small forward. He's not a post up guy, he doesn't play a position that requires a lot of post up play. I don't see people suggesting that Melo or James need to gain more weight and get into the paint.
