He's going to Brooklyn in 2016!

Seriously, though, it will be interesting to see how Brooklyn handles transactions going forward. Ownership has been loose with the cash so far, but KD's current deal expires in 2016. All of Brooklyn's big contracts, except for Deron, also expire then. So the Nets could have monstor cap space then, if they handle their payroll appropriately going forward.

Is JayZ still a part owner? If so, how can he be a players agent, or have his company rep the player, and still sign the player, is that not conflict of interest?

From a marketing standpoint, putting KD in a market like Brooklyn just seems to make sense to me. One of the next best things to playing for the Knicks. But he'd never fit next to Carmelo. That paring makes little sense, in my opinion. So...I wouldn't be surprised if KD ended up in Brooklyn in 2016.

KD is waiting for 2016 so he can sign for the Raptors. He already said they were his favorite team

you know what's crazy, Jay-Z only owner 0.15% of the nets. $350,000 worth of ownership

all this time people were talking about him being an owner like he mattered. i doubt he even owned a seat on the board.

I think he used to have more, though, didn't he? I thought he sold a shitload of it when Prok bought in. Anyway, I doubt he even owns anything in the near future, especially if his agency keeps expanding into basketball.

He supposedly put in a million in 2003. He also apparently he owns 0.2% of the barclays centre, which is valued at 2 million.
