Have they perfected some sort of knee transplant or replacement surgery?
Maybe a time machine?
If not then good luck.

Belsius 04-14-2009 04:42 PM

I believe him

Gurk 04-14-2009 04:43 PM

Gurk 04-14-2009 04:50 PM

I wasn't taling about your post I was directing my post to what JO had to say

HoopsMachine 04-14-2009 05:01 PM

if Shaq can get back at 35 or 36 than JO can do it also.

Ex2k 04-14-2009 05:07 PM

Why is ESPN interviewing him all of a sudden...

no1 wanted to talk to him when he was in Toronto!

eoraptor77 04-14-2009 05:16 PM

The only way JO is going to get selected to the allstar game is if he adopts some Chinese kid, other than having a few million Chinese voting for him hes got no chance. Theres just too many good young bigmen in the East, from Howard to Bargs, Lopez, Bogut, Horford, even guys like Varejo and Perkins are gonna be ahead of JO.

i like J.O's confidence .. he talks the talk, will see if he can back up his words ... imo he can do it ..

bjjs 04-14-2009 07:22 PM

Next to D12, their isn't a whole lot of competition. Bargnani, Ilgauskus might be his biggest competition.

Nites 04-14-2009 07:40 PM

In his dreams.

Ligeia 04-14-2009 08:19 PM

He'll be doing the Tiimmmmme Warrrrpppp!

Let's do the Time Warp againnnnnn!

jeffb 04-14-2009 08:21 PM

He'll be lucky to still be in the league in a few years. His knees are shot to hell. It's a shame.

ClingRap 04-15-2009 07:47 AM

the only way he's making the all-star team is if there's a lockout season due to the next talks surrounding the CBA collapsing and they play 40 games and he's healthy for twenty of those and plays out of his mind in half of those. a ten game stretch outta do it. outside of that, no chance in hell.

INSIDER 04-15-2009 09:44 AM

sorry to burst your bubble Jermaine, but theres no chance you become an allstar again, ever.
his only realistic chance is if he pulls an Antonio Davis circa 2001, and makes the team due to 3 other injured Centers that season.

and even that would be a stretch. he has to remember that in order to make the team himself, he has to be HEALTHY. and what are the odds of that happening?

good luck.

MangoKidHoops 04-15-2009 11:11 AM

He'll have to prove that on an MLE.

I believe him. If he can be focused and stay injury free, I think he can be an all-star again. But those are massive factors.

Ugo Ferst 04-15-2009 12:17 PM

he has no lift, his knees are done, his offensive game is more limited then ever (and it was already limited before his injuries), he is done as an allstar, he could be a great 2nd unit centre if he could swallow his pride, but we all know he cant.
