Jazz Jazz will look to move Jefferson & Millsap?

LEAGUE SCUTTLEBUTT

League executives say the Utah Jazz's excitement over young big men Enes Kanter and Derrick Favors has them shopping Al Jefferson and Paul Millsap. ... While Boston is not shopping Rajon Rondo, it would be open to trading him in the right deal, sources say. The Celtics feel they need more scoring to take the load off Paul Pierce.

Love millsap.... dude is a beast. He's undersized but has good length and an ability to go off inside and out.

I like Milsap here! Keep Jefferson. A rebounding machine, but a black hole on offense.

How is Jefferson a black hole on offense? He is a top 5 post player we have in the league today. Actually, there aren't even that many players in the league that have post moves down low.

Rumor has it Okur going to get the amnesty axe. So we could get him even cheaper. But I would do that trade.

As they should; Favors and Kanter are their guys going forward. Would be a smart move on the Jazz's part. Neither player makes much sense here though. Ed and Amir are similar and cheaper alternatives to Milsap, and Jefferson is a big teddy bear.

a black hole connotes that the ball goes in and doesn't come out. That still stands regardless of how effective a post player he is.

i've been one of the supporters of Bosh in all those debates, but i still think that's a good trade! You're pretty good at making decent trades.

millsap is a step-down from Bosh but would probably suit their style way better and they get a decent(ish) PG.

It's not a horrible trade by any means but the reality of the situation is this.... MIA still went to the finals last season....

If Dalembert signs with them this year I'd say they're easy favourites to come out of the East again without any other deals.

He's had a couple good seasons.

I remember when Boozer was injured a couple years ago, Millsap stepped in and put up double doubles every game.

Millsap's been good since he first stepped on the floor in his first season.

Still blows my mind that he was a 2nd round pick TBH.

Boston ain't been the same since they bailed on Tony Allen. He was their frontcourt hustle guy, their Kobe stopper.

Utah gotta start over, after their star player freaked out their legendary coach, who hastily retired. Ty Corbin was a solid player, but I don't see him being the floor tactitian Utah needs to be a top team. Rebuilding the Jazz will take a couple-3 years. Denver's all hacked up too. This gives the Kings, Clippers, and Warriors a nice window to put playoff teams together.

theres something about the undersized PF that people dont appreciate. i for one enjoy watching the undersized player go to work in the paint, he goes in there giving his all, using intelligence to maneuver around the bigger guys and surprising everyone. amir johnson, millsap, dejaun blair, etc are players that fit the description of the solid undersized PF

absolutely... but when that undersized player is as explosive and long as Millsap it really is even more special.... He's a guy that can play all three frontcourt spots... and has the swagger to even go off offensively too. Love his game.
