![]() Man, too bad he's turning 36. Still a really good player though. Think he'll end in Miami with LBJ? Go small ball with Bosh at C and/or come off the bench?
Dallas or the Lakers could use him as well...I kinda like the line of Sessions, Kobe, Jamison, Pau, Bynum - for a couple of years would probably keep that team as major contenders. RealGM... Antawn Jamison confirmed he will not be returning to the Cavaliers next season. "I understand the importance of Tristan (Thompson) and these younger guys getting the opportunity to play," Jamison said. "I’ve taught them so much and it’s been fun teaching them, but it’s time for me to move on as well. I don’t know what the future holds, I don’t know what opportunity might present itself, but I definitely have a great feeling this is probably my last home game and (Thursday) will be my last game as a Cav." Jamison will be an unrestricted free agent this offseason. Read more: Jamison Wont Re Sign With Cleveland - RealGM Wiretap |

![]() Jamison has been a pretty professional and classy player....everyone in the Cavs organization most assuredly knows he's leaving so not a big issue. At least the Cavs fans can give him a nice farewell aloha, lol until he returns with the Heat next year

![]() I 100% agree with your sentiments. He should have a chance to play for a title and for that I would like to see him with LA or even better, the Heat. I think Dallas shot themselves in the foot by not retaining JJ and Tyson.

![]() He's made the playoffs tonnes of times. He played with the Wiz who weren't terrible. And he also played on an absolutely stacked Mavs team was 6th man of the year

he's been in the playoffs 5 times out of 14 years. of those 5 times, 4 of them were 1st round exits. hes never made it past 2nd round. that 'staked' Mavs team was a first round playoff exit.... and he was only there for one year. that decent Washington team was 1st round playoff fodder 3 years in a row... and we all know what happened there during the Arenas gun fiasco. he's played on a shit Golden state team for half of his career... the worst team in history (Last year) with the Cavs. |

![]() he would be great coming off the bench on the clippers, great threat from outside and spacing for guards like mo williams and a recovered chauncey billups maneuver inside.

And if you want to get technical, he's been there 6 times, not 5. 4 out of the 5 seasons he was in Washington, he made the playoffs. The year before Washington, he went with Dallas. After getting traded to Cleveland, he went to the playoffs. He only missed the playoffs once from 2003-2010. Tonnes is a subjective word. And if you're a Raptor fan, the number of times Jamison's been in the playoffs feels like its been tonnes, considering the Raptors have had such limited success in getting there themselves. |
